Staff very friendly and professional and the food was lovely. Thank you so much for making an extra effort to accommodate for a table of mainly vegans it was very much appreciated. Full credit to the manager and her team today will certainly be visiting again. �

Really enjoyed our meal here last night, the bruschetta was so tasty we ordered a second plate. My partner had the risotto and I had the giant penne dish with crispy spinach balls and I'd happily recommend both, so tasty. However the icing on the cake was that a lovely lady member of staff overheard us discussing celebrating our upcoming holiday to Chianti, Italy - and brought us a complimentary bottle of Chianti. A great little restaurant with thoughtful and attentive staff, we will certainly be back!

My wife usually goes off menu as she prefers creamy sauces as opposed to Tomato based. We explained this to waitress and hey presto a glorious white creamy souse was served.... wife very happy with no fuss.. that’s why Excellent awarded

I fancied pasta and it was the best carbonara I'd ever tasted. My husband tried a new main on the menu and that was also lovely. The staff were the best, very friendly and chatty. Definitely a re- visit next time we are in Manchester �

Great staff, attentive without being overbearing. Good food -naturally, but what I liked was:

"Tap water please"... No problem, no judgement.

One starter -two plates given without even suggesting it.

Same with one pudding.

Offered coffee but didn't feel pressured to order.

Altogether a pleasant experience dining on their set-price lunch menu.

Great food, great setvice, food didnt take too long snd they really looked after us as my wife has coeliac!

I had the Burrata & Prosciutto to start the Burrata was beautiful really creamy and delicious. Followed by the Carbonara which was a treat the pancetta was crispy and was like popping in my mouth. Finished off with the Meringa al frutto della passione which was light sweet and tart at the same time. All washed down with a large Chianti and a Cappuccino.

The staff were all very warm friendly, and interested in what I thought about the food especially Magdalena. I'm thinking of making this a regular treat on my way home from work.

Am SOOOO UPSET - you have closed Hale - loved it, great staff all friendly. Will miss them ALL! Best place to sit outside on summer evening - watching the world go by & chatting to anyone & everyone. SAD !! xxx

Great breakfast! We had stayed overnight following a long day shopping, drinking and going to the cinema, the Magnifica was spot on, nice fresh orange juice and great coffee included in the price. Staff were great and it was a fab way to start our day.

Brilliant service, all of the waiters and waitresses extremely pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Left feeling full but not stuffed

I have eaten here a number of times service alway been good food this time not as good as other times, will give them another try could have been an off day.

Today, I had the worst experience of all the times I have eaten here. Very slow service and when the food eventually came out it was definitely below average. Waiter was new, they were totally understaffed outside and inside the kitchen. He sent the kids main meals out with the adult starters of which one of these we sent back due to being inedible. Rest of the meal continued on the same substandard path. Wont come back to this branch of Carluccios due to today’s experience.

Came to have a meal to celebrate a belated anniversary and was very disappointed . We got garlic bread with cheese to share as a starter but you could rarely see the cheese. Then waited over half an hour for mains to arrive. Was very expensive when we got the bill as we didn't think it was worth the money. Won't be coming back again .

My meal arrived cold and had to be sent back, a fresh warmer one was served but it spoilt the eating experience. What was even more disappointing when paying the bill they would not consider even a slight reduction. We will not be eating there again.

First time we visited just before Christmas, kitchen forgot to put our main course on so we had a hour wait- was busy so gave the benefit of doubt. Gave another chance Saturday just gone (no queue outside- of course now we know why!)

Ordered drinks- didn’t arrive until after we prompted the waiter after our starters had arrived, finally got them when starter was finished. Main course ordered a chicken dish was prompted by waiter to add roast potatoes- these were forgotten and when we question we were brought two portions and charged for them. Dessert was another disaster- order a chocolate fondant half way through found a ball of hard plastic, before I had even put the object down, my desert was whipped away by the waiter- something tells me this wasn’t a first time occurrence. Safe to say we will not be returning for a third time. Shame as when served correctly and without plastic bits in your dessert it has the makings of a fantastic restaurant.
