Carnatic Halls

Carnatic Halls, is the larger of the University of Liverpools' two halls of residence sites located in the suburbs of Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. It stands within the Mossley Hill area of the city. HallsThe site is home to five halls of residence: Lady Mountford House (241 residents)McNair Hall (161 residents)Morton House (205 residents)Rankin Hall (265 residents)Salisbury Hall (221 residents)FacilitiesAll five halls have access to the central 'Carnatic House', which houses a refectory for catered students and guests; as well as a student bar - known as 'Carnatic Social'. As well as Carnatic Social, the site has a small shop, which is run in conjunction with the Liverpool Guild of Students, and provides basic living necessities. Carnatic SocialCarnatic Social offers a wide range of activities besides those of a normal bar. Most (except the games on BT sport) televised Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup matches are shown, as well as international football events. International rugby is also shown, such as the annual Six Nations Championship.
