*CARLA LANE CAT OF THE WEEK*
Hello lovely people, my name is Chubby. I've been at Carla Lane since December, when my previous owner became too ill to look after me.
I would love to find my fur-ever home as soon as possible, and would prefer to be in a quiet household. I can be a little shy at first, but I love cuddles and am happy to show off my very loud purr!
... If you think you can offer me a fur-ever home please contact Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool today or share this post so that others can hear my appeal 💖

From all of us here at Cat Cafe Liverpool, we would like to wish you the very best for the New Year 🎉🎆🙌 . . Our unique journey began in 2018 and what a year it was. We've come so far and it's all down to your incredible support! .... . We've got big plans ahead. Our aim is to continue to pursue our original mission statement. That is, to provide a sanctuary in which people can relax, unwind, and practice living more peaceful, mindful lives. As such, we will be looking to introduce some new initiatives designed to support anyone and everyone who may be struggling with regards to their own mental health. This is because at Cat Cafe, we recognise that: It's okay not be okay. . . We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing staff, without whom none of this would be possible. Finally, an extra special shout-out must of course go to the kitties of Cat Cafe. Their cuteness, cuddles, and kind hearts is what should motivate us all to approach 2019 with a pawsitive cattitude.. Happy New Year everyone! 😽 #HappyNewYear2019

We visited today 20/7/18 and booked a birthday table so we got a piece of cake with cream balloon and a lovely card and also Paddington (cat) waiting on the chair for cuddles

The setup is brilliant over 3 levels tables chairs and sofas and lots of toys and beds for the cats

Drinks and food available and not badly priced we had so much fun we stayed over the 1 hour and we just paid at the end what was owed

The very top level was quiet and would advice anyone with Autism or doesn’t handle loud noise to go up there

Staff very friendly and helpful

Will be returning very soon

We had a fabulous time this afternoon at the Cat Cafe. From the minute we walked in and were welcomed by Joey - who was wonderful - warm, welcoming and professional ( thank you!) we knew we were going to have a lovely time. Cats are all well looked after and clearly more than happy in their home on Bold Street. We were served our tasty drinks very quickly and got lots of kitty time. We will definately back back!

User

Visited the cafe yesterday with my friend. Was great meeting the cats that were awake and looking at hoe cute the sleeping ones were!! The hour soon flew by!!! The cats look in fantastic health and very happy! Food looked great, but didn't have any! Next time I will do!!

User

This place is fantastic for cat-a-holics like myself lol the place is spotless, and very comfy. The cats are beautiful, friendly and playful. The coffee is amazing. I really recommend this place to all my friends as long as I can go with them lol. Can't wait till our next visit

User

The service was friendly and welcoming and the staff were also very professional and considerate for both the costumers and the safety and well being of the cats.

The design and environment were of a vintage style and so comfortable that there was never a moment I felt any discomfort, and the drinks were wonderful.

Overall it was a pleasant and relaxing experience and I will definitely be going again and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good way to spend the afternoon.

User

Such a great place to relax. Cats are well cared for and hot drinks and cakes on offer are good quality. Would recommend the chocolate orange cake. Only downside was they only had one cake type available and service can be a tad slow. Staff are great. Some annoying customers putting their phones in cats faces and disturbing them which the staff manage as best they could. Be warned that many of the cats are asleep and that this is ordinary for cats so shouldn’t be expecting different. Would visit again as compared with what you’d pay at Starbucks, it is good value all in all.

User

Popped in yesterday as I was passing. All staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a very lovely cappuccino and a cream scone. Willow lurked under the couch I was chilling on and came out for a stretch before she swiped a sneaky pawful of cream. Another cat proceeded to walk across my lap then turned to sit there giving my face a good lick. She then promptly fell asleep on my lap. Struck with cat paralysis for about ten minutes and with time on my parking ticket running out I had no choice but to prepare to pay the fine. Thankfully puss decided that my lap was a bit too warm and released me so I could run to my car. Lovely chilled out hour. Thank you x

User

I visited this morning at 10 am, it had been a really tough week and I needed to just go somewhere to relax and take my mind of things, and this place did that and more!! Spotless and beautifully decorated, attentive staff who were always on hand and were easy to chat with and the gorgeous cats who really lifted my mood I can’t wait to visit again favourite kitty :- Paddington

User

I visited again today and love spending time with the gorgeous cats the staff are always welcoming and will answer any of ur questions I would recommend it to any one

User

Had a great afternoon at Cat Cafe yesterday.

All the staff very friendly and helpful.

Also had my first experience of “biscuit time” when the biscuits get put out for the cats. There were cats diving from everywhere to feast on the biscuits very funny to watch.

Pots of tea were very nice but we kept getting interrupted by our fav cat Willow who was always on the hunt for food.

All in all a fantastic day and will definitely be back soon.

User

Beautiful cats, great staff! I was a bit upset as one of the fluffy cats (a grey one) reminded me of my Mia I’ve just lost to the road but I must say Dobbie has changed my mind about the Sphinx cat

User

User

As a regular visitor to the Manchester Cat Cafe, I thought it was about time to give the Liverpool one a try! - And it certainly didn't disappoint!.The cats were beautiful and playful, and the staff were certainly happy to help and to talk about cats too!

User

Absolutely loved my visit to the cat cafe! All the staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. All the cats were so tame and friendly and were coming up to us wanting some attention and to be stroked. They are so chilled out around all the visitors and look very well looked after. Cant believe how fast the hour went. The drinks and cakes were also great! Loved every minute- will definitely visit again!

User

Absolutely great day out in liverpool, the cat cafe being the highlight. All the cats are super chill and come and go via different floors. I had the pleasure of meeting Gemma and Cilla, both British shorthairs, and stunning blue/grey kittens. We had a play with George a Norwegian forest cat who was super playful, we both ended up stratched, but had so much fun with him. Would recommend it. I will be going back soon. The lovely ladies that work there too are worth a mention, as they are so nice and the cats love them.

User

Does what it says on the can. But getting in and out via the same point is a bottleneck, especially at booked times and means people are kept waiting. The cats all look fantastically cared for, have private space to get away from it all and the coffees are first class. The rules are simple to follow, but I think you could come here and not get much cat interaction if they are all asleep.

User

Lovely place and you can tell they really care about the cats wellbeing. Main criticism is, although they don’t allow children under 10, we went on a Saturday and there were a lot of children there. If you want it to be a little quieter and the cats to be a bit more sociable, the staff recommended going through the week when the kids are in school.

User

I visited with my daughter's, the cafe itself is lovely, really nicely done, however I think the amount you pay, £12 for an hour is pretty steep, yes it's drinks included but there's only so many a person can drink in that time and food is extra. The top floor where most of the cats were was full and we barely got to see or stroke any cats as they were either asleep or not around and as soon as one opened it's eyes everyone flocks to it! I think if it was drinks and maybe cake or something it would be more value for money.

User

The cafe & cats are lovely but trying to get any time with a cat was near impossible due to the kids screeching in whenever a cat was around. Getting served with a drink (NB All drinks included) was nearly as hard with staff ignoring us. Even when I mentioned this at the main counter we didn’t get the attendance the assistant had promised.

Six of us had booked in for a one hour slot. After we eventually managed to get in there was nowhere available on three floors for us all to sit together?

The cafe is wonderfully laid out with cumfy seating & is a veritable feline palace. It could & should have been great, but ended up a big dissapointment. You need to do better!
