Somebody asked recently whether a rod license was required to fish with us and I can now confirm that yes it is. You can apply for them online or at a Post Office. Details can be found at https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/when- you-need-a-licence

what a beautiful place to spend a few hours....and the fishings great too

We love the place, we camp whenever we can, husband enjoys to fish while I take in the peace relaxing getting back to nature, facilities could do with improvement, shops only a five minute drive away, a pub within walking distance, dog friendly, quiet place to rejuvenate, owner a lovely guy very chatty and friendly, if you want to just unwind and relax it's ideal place

We love camping here and keep coming back. Fantastic views and great walks. Peter and Liz always make us feel very welcome.

Spent 6 nights on the caravan park and enjoyed some excellent fishing. Very peaceful spot I will definitely be going back.

If your after a well kept place to fish this is it fished it over many years always a nice place to sit and relax , Not ott with platforms plenty of features to fish too

Fished this place for the first time, excellent stamp of fish in great condition, well looked after grounds and the bailiff gave great advice via tx and whilst walking the lake, only down side the fish fight far too hard �

Fantastic place quiet clean and great fishing Deffo going to try a 24hr session to c if I van land a big one done well on my day 1st fish just under a double then 14 others from 5-9lb don't look. You need to try this place it's out of this world trust me���

Fantastic days fishing today, lots of carp and silvers too, will be back agon very soon.

Caught my first mirror carp with my husband simon.... had an excellent caravaning cheers!!! Cat rough camping<3

nice fishery, been fishing her for only a year but think they really need to get the bank and pegs finished.some pegs have metal posts which are in the water which will form the new staging for pegs, but its making it difficult to fish from with these not finished.its difficult to put keepnets in and return fish safely other wise this wood be 4 or 5 star review
