Iron man road closures today Sunday 15 July!
We can be accessed via Mossy Lea Road from the south. There is also access to and from the M6 north and south via Charnock Richard Services.

Good luck to Matty Askin, defending his British cruiser weight title tonight. Matty has been staying with us for the last month while training for tonight's fight. We'll all be cheering him on in Fred's bar.

first time camping here and won't be our last :) it's a lovely quite and clean site, with vending machines, cafe and bar with friendly staff. toilets on our site so did not have to walk far. bins and drinking water on site to. little walk to the washing up room and showers. we where on a big camping field, great for kids that love running about and playing ball games. my son loves the night so he could use the fire pit. this site is great for anyone who loves fishing, as there are 4 ponds. very happy with the farm, i was sad to leave, can't wait to come back again :)

User

Went to charity farm today for the cross country course and it was absolutely fantastic. Lots of jumps with different heights! Will definitely be going again. Thank you.

User

We loved our first visit here, very peaceful, absolutely huge, decent and secure dog walking area, nice cafe/bar, which is dog and child friendly . Toilets and showers absolutely fine (50p charge for shower, presumably to stop fishermen and horse riders abusing the facility, but that gives plenty of time for a good shower). Would be useful if there could be a secure freezer for campers as one of our dogs has a special diet. We can't wait to return 👍👍👍

User

We have just come back from a weeks stay at charity farm . It is a great campsite with great pitches and well located for visiting in the local area with the Lakes ,Blackpool and Manchester all with in an hours travelling.

Definitely stay again if in the area.

User

This place is amazing, I never write reviews but felt I had to, spacious very very clean toilets and showers, friendly and staff are lovely. Food looks great nice fisheries and we will defiantly back just wish it had a shop where we could buy essentials then we wouldn’t have to leave. Can’t wait to come back here xx

User

This is my 2nd time camping with Husband and friends I was dubious at first but couldn't wait to go back .

A well organised family run business nothing is too much trouble

All staff very welcoming you arrive as strangers and leave as friends .

Absolutely cannot fault the site ..all amenities catered for .

We managed to get the same plots as last time which was fab

We will be back soon x

User

Spacious set out for the tents, fire pits brought to you with firewood, playing field so you can watch the children in full view without tents being in the way and nice little cafe and bar.

User

Only had one visit, but looking forward to next one, lovely peaceful place, great fishery

User

One of our favourite places to camp! Under an hour from Liverpool, clean fields, decent price, lovely cafe & bar, Kia friendly, dog friendly, clean facilities and generally, the other campers we’ve met have been friendly n easy going too. See you again soon!

User

Love Charity farm, Staff are lovely, we come a few times a year, Kids love all the open space to run round on, The onsite cafe is nice with great prices, family that run it are fantastic!

User

I stayed for two nights with my best friend and it was worth the money! Need to learn to drive before I go again - far away from anything. Owners are friendly and love to help if you have any questions!

User

Had a lovely time here , clean and friendly site .very organised with electric &non electric pitches, already looking at booking my next stay. Next time I will be booking a fire pit .

Think the only down side is they may need to look at building a play / park area for the children although my daughter had loads of fun climbing the trees thankyou for a great weekend

User

Had a great weekend with our group The Friendly Cyclists for our Carry On Camping weekend that also incorporated a 34 mile bike ride . Thanks to all the staff at Charity Farm for looking after us , the fire pits are great and the new reception is looking good too !! We will definitely be back !

User

Great campsite, every time we come we notice improvements e.g washing up sinks in H field very good idea:) and a new reception next to the cafe. Nice family orientated campsite, cafe and bar on site, showers and toilets and lovely fishing lakes if you fancy fishing. You can hire firepits with wood, kindling, firelighters for a reasonable price. Lovely site come see for yourself:)

User

Charity Farm is the place we think of for our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh camps. Great position, amenities and pitches.

User

Charity Farm is a little gem of a campsite catering for tourists with an equestrian and fishing centres. The showers were fantastic and lovely and hot. The laundry was great and really good value for money. The site was well kept and so friendly I would recommend this to anyone. It is set in the countryside so lovely and quiet. 5 stars
