Different style loader brackets welded on to a new 8ft JCB loading shovel bucket. Old brackets left in place incase it needs to be reverted back to standard.

User

5ft ditching bucket repaired. The bucket was first cut and straightened before a new Hardox cutting edge was fully welded on. Straight as an arrow now. Another happy customer

First time for everything here at cheddar developments. The owner of this bike had a bit of an accident resulting in the foot peg breaking out of is mounting bracket.
Unfortunately the mounting brackets are welded on as part of the steel frame where as some of the other brands of bikes are replaceable “bolt on” parts.
A new mounting bracket was hand made from slightly thicker stronger steel and more material was left surround the foot peg mounting hole before very carefully... positioning and aligning to make sure it was absolutely spot on for the customer.
I don’t know what would of happened if it would have been taken to a bike shop! New frame probably which would be very costly!!

Euro8 to cone and pin adapter. Simple robust designs allows you to pick up all your cone and pin attachments with your front loader tractor. Save thousands on new equipment made to fit your front loader and use one attachment on both machines. Single locking pin that goes right through your attachment and adapter in one. #cheddardevelopments

New flat body purchased by local company Temp plant LTD. Wasn’t quite up to the job so before it went out on the road the deck was strengthened underneath with extra supports to stop the deck bending.
The rollers at the rear were re positioned as they were incorrectly placed and it caused the body to hit the ground before the wheels made contact!!
New Ramps were made for the mini diggers and rollers with easy accessible self securing storage at the front of the body.
... Steel gussets welded into the outer channel to stop the edges rolling over.
Big gussets at the front to stop the front from bending when lifting 13 Ton machines as well as brackets through from the front “A-frame” to secure the machines on better.

Something a little different from cheddar developments this week. Strut spacers to fit transit MK6 and MK7 to lift the front of the van and make it more level. Extra ground clearance and stops the larger chunky tyres from rubbing in full lock.
Available in sizes ranging anywhere from 30 to 60mm
£60 plus postage
... I can also make strut spacers for other vehicles I just need the Dimensions of the strut tops.

Just been send through these pictures of the wagon wheel washer grids all in place at Moor Top Quarry in Guiseley. They’ll be in place for many years to come

Quick video of the slurry mixer running when I'd finished rebuilding, quiet as a mouse and smooth as silk. Perfectly balanced. No nasty vibrations rattling the bearings to bits

Slurry mixer repair.
The main drive shaft had snapped, the PTO stub shaft was bent, the drive end bearing was heavily worn and the rubber bearing was none existent!
New main drive shaft was bought and cut to length and a new PTO stub shaft was welded in. New drive end bearing was fitted and a new rubber bearing for the propellor end was installed.
... The propellor was shot blasted to remove dirt and new inner and outer plates were laser cut and welded internally and externally before reassembling it all back together.
Smooth as silk and Quiet as a mouse now. It Will be working for many years to come for a fraction of the price of a new one.

Final day today at Whitelock's finishing off the wheel wash grids.
Flipped them all over and spent the day welding in extra girder for long lasting strength and durability.
Also added some extra angle iron inside the girders for lifting the grids out of the wash pit once it's full of dirt.
... Rough estimated weight of 3 tons each.
