we called on way home from our GCSE Music Exams and we have got to say it was Excellent the Food and the Service was Brilliant and we got well looked after . We had Chips and Fish and the fish was so fresh we saw the guy go out with his fishing rod to catch um 5* we will deffo call in again and soon so a Big Thank You from Bev and Mike :) xx

We only stopped for a drink and was impressed how much thought has gone into the place with toiletries in ladies and dog water and treat stand plus kids toys outside and even a basket of sun creams. Hopefully be back soon to try food �

We had a fantastic meal last night. We were served by the fabulous Aden and from the moment he took our order to when we paid he made us feel so welcome. The food was fantastic as always and even though my daughter couldn’t have her first choice of starter she was also pleased with her meal. The portions are always very generous and I can recommend the butchers block starter and the buttermilk chicken burger. Thank you again for a fantastic meal and Aden is an absolute � A real asset to the restaurant �

Service was excellent, especially Aden, thanks for looking after me. Food was excellent, one of the best pub meals I have had for a long time.

Met up for dinner with friends. Didn’t book but we were seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant was full and I’m not remotely surprised! The food was amazing!

The waitress, JAYNE , was lovely, friendly, & courteous and she really looked after us well.

Will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely food always really good and was looked after by Aden tonight who is an absolute darling! Great service from him nothing too much trouble just a lovely guy!

I want to thank Marie and all her staff Raehel that sorted us was wonderful so happy with my belated birthday meal was fabulous to see this pub on top form as alway we been coming on and of for 11 years now and alway fabulous meal happy staff and warm welcome no matter how busy u are so 10/10 in are book best place in Warrington to come we come Has couple and family party but alway same high standard met so thank u for being best round we will be back again soon so thank u to all xx

Come here often, staff are all very polite. Espiscally Aden his custom service is fantastic and very bubbly makes you feel at home. I always look forward to seeing him when I come in. The food is also great, it's always consistent each time I've been. Would recommend this pub to anyone!

Called in Friday lunchtime and had an excellent meal All the staff were polite and friendly waitress service was brilliant and the food was reasonably priced will definitely go again

Went yesterday for a drink with my bf and ended up having food. Not been here for years the food was very good I had the Hunters Chicken which was very nice my bf had the curry service and staff very good would definitely go back.

We called on spec on the way to a concert in Warrington. Couldn't fault the place or the service and the only reason I've given 4 stars was because of the frozen fries and chips which spoiled a lovely meal otherwise. The curry and lentil soup was tasty and the chunky bread very light. The Hunters Chicken was delicious and my husband enjoyed his burger. The pastry on the apple and blackberry crumble pie was very short and light. My husband had custard on his, I had ice cream and we both enjoyed it. We would definitely go again.

The food was good, service was good. Only disappointment was that, on the special menu for Valentine's Day, one of the meals was not available.

It did not look to be that busy, so that seems like a bit of bad planning. Or was it that this meal was £14 on the main menu that meant they would not make any money on the special menu.

Less than 5 minutes off the M6 so a perfect lunch stop for Bristol to Glasgow drivers rather than the services. Good kids meals for a fiver rather than just rubbish nuggets.

Beer garden as well for sunny days.

Had a meal yesterday. Very busy but was seated within a few minutes. Despite being busy our meals came in an acceptable time. I had beef in red wine pie with mash, pie was gorgeous as was red cabbage (extra). But was disappointed there was far too much pepper in the mash this spoilt the meal really. My son had pork belly loved it & husband had the steak also loved it..

Great Pub lovely decor & very friendly staff. Will visit again.

Only one person serving at the bar, waiting 15 minutes for a drink, happened over the last 3 times we’ve visited. Dirty tables which were dirty when we arrived and not cleaned before we left. Such a shame as it used to be a really nice place for a drink.

Have visited many times before and loved it...on this occasion it was a huge let down.. the main meals were nearly two hours after we arrived and were sent back, cold rice and chicken burnt literally to a cinder! The second attempt didnt come out til nearly 9.45pm....given that the table was booked for 7.15 not when we wanted to be eating, some of the meals this time were acceptable, not all of them though!

The waitress was good, she tried her best under difficult circumstances and when the bill came there was compensation, overall a disappointing experience.

Been here a few times now but disappointed this time we ordered our meals to be told there was no sirloin steak available some of the starters on the specials menu were also unavailable when the meals came we had ordered normal chips but they came with sweet potato ones and we had to ask for the sauces ordered we then ordered sweets but were advised that the specials dessert was not available we ordered a vanilla and strawberry ice cream and they brought chocolate We were not the only ones who did not get what they ordered as we saw many meals being taken back. We will be going again as the actual food is very good but let’s hope the staff have improved and they have order enough food to last the day
