What a difference 12 months can make. A young, immature cherry blossom just starting out, its been through some tough times and challenging conditions, but...12 months on look how beautiful its blossom is now 😍 I'm feeling some similarities in business 😄🌸

We weren't sure if these would ever grow, planted in our garden where we buried our two gorgeous cats, Eccles (18) and Leo (19) died in 2015 and 2016. We remember exactly what happened on each day 😢 both significant in our journey to opening Cherry Blossom Funerals. The day I graduated with my BSc (Hons) and the day I'd decided I'd had enough of Council scrutiny committees! Pets are so important in our lives and we miss these two characters every day 💕

A beautiful morning yesterday when we visited West Lancashire Crematorium, Burscough 🌸

We had a funeral recently at the very unassuming Orrell Methodist Church It has a lovely community-feel and CBF were made to feel very welcome. The Minister who delivered the service is also a Street Pastor and was in Wigan on Mad Friday until 4am and on Boxing Night to help revellers, and others, who may have needed a little support. What an amazing lady. As someone once said, "look for the helpers" and we think Rev. Sheila MacInally is worth a mention 🙂🌸

As we quietly approach the 1yr Anniversary since Cherry Blossom Funerals first opened, I just wanted to take time out to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families who have put their trust in me, a new funeral director who takes a fresh approach to funerals. You will be in my thoughts during this festive period as I know how hard it will be for some.
