We had my sons 10th birthday party here yesterday and all I can say was it was the best party he has ever had! Good price and something different than a typical kids party, they all loved it. Our party host Oli did a fantastic job, he was so helpful and went out of his way to ensure they all had a fantastic time, will definitely recommend this place!

User

We attended the canine chill session with our 5 month old husky puppy. What an amazing experience. It was a welcome escape from the heat for all of us, not just the dog. Such an amazing thing to do, really hope they turn this into a regular thing. We know plenty of people with pups who would love to attend. Thank you to the staff who were very helpful in cleaning up little accidents.

User

My son just had a lesson with Mikey today. Supposed to be 5 people in the lesson but three never turned up so just my son and another girl. He progressed so well. He learnt more in his 1 hour 50 mins today than he did in his 6 hour beginner course. Cannot thank Mikey enough. He is a great instructor

User

My little boy had his snow park party here today (Saturday) with 10 guests and 8 extra participating adults.

The customer service here is excellent and the people who I spoke to when I booked the party were very helpful, especially Leanne who kept me informed via email.

The guy who booked us in was such a character (I didn’t catch his name) but he definitely got the party started with his fun attitude and David, our party host made the whole experience relaxing. We arrived early to book in and David got all of our equipment ready (boots, helmets, bibs and suits) while we waited and watched everyone on the slopes.

After we got changed, we were able to put all of our bags and clothes in a locked bin/cupboard. This was great as we didn’t need to worry about finding a locker. After a quick safety talk, we were able to go off on the snow park.

Thank you to everyone involved who helped to make this experience so special. We all had a great time.

User

Just like to say thank you for everything at our son’s 8th birthday party on 8th April. Excellent service all the kids had a fab time even though it wasn’t what we booked as one of your instructors was off sick, excellent customer service offering a complimentary air boarding party at a later date. Thoroughly recommend the Chill Factore for a party. Thank you !

User

Just home from the most amazing experience. Been on the full day beginner course with Nikki, one of the best instructors in any field I’ve ever met. Nikki took the class from never seeing a ski to linked turns. I can’t wait to go back and have another go. Excellent value for money, I would wholeheartedly recommend. — at Chill Factore

User

Instructor Brian did a great job and helped my 4 year old son Ed really progress in this block of lessons. It helped that there were only 2 in the group and they were of similar ability. Once they were confidently skiing from the top Brian did a great job of stretching them with backwards skiing, paralell across the fall line, skid stops & one legged skiing. The smile on their faces at the end was a joy.

User

I have just completed the beginner and intermediate Snow Board courses with my 12 year old daughter. Excellent experience from start to finish, great instructors who tailor your development to your speed of learning. Having different instructors each week really helps as all have slightly different teaching styles so if you don’t grasp something on one lesson a slightly different approach generally helps you crack it.

Also managed to do a little free style in our 5th and 6th lessons going over the jump. Brilliant and mixes it up, needs to be continued. Completed the first 7 lessons in 6 and now have been advised to spend time consolidating the lessons. We would 100% recommend the lessons at Chill factore!

User

I booked a snowboarding lesson for myself and friend here today. Jay was our instructor and he was absolutely brilliant. He was really informative and gave expert advise on the basics of finding balance and how to get moving. Our group was full of different aged people and Jay was friendly and encouraging with everyone in the class. Everyone was cheering each other on, it was just fantastic. Nothing was over complicated and I left feeling like I wanted to do a full day course to get on the bigger slopes. Thanks so much to Jay, you’re a credit to the team, have such a lovely attitude towards your teaching and pupils and have given me the snowboarding bug.

User

Had my sons 8th birthday party here yesterday. All the staff were lovely at every contact. From booking to email communication and the staff on the day. Really impressed with the care they took with one of our party who had a peanut intolerance. Only criticism I have is when booking in at reception o the day I wish we wold have been told we had a room so we could have got all the kids ready in there and saved the loss of shoes (which we did eventually find 😂😂). Kids had the best time though so thank you all 😀

User

Had a great time with my dog Lola at your Dog snow play day, a much welcome relief from the heat wave for both of us - great idea, and I came home with info about what you offer to people with disabilities - a potential to add an activity to the life of a little boy I look after - this is something I never thought possible and you’ve made it possible 👍🏻

User

Had a 2 hr lift pass on Sunday 27th May which I got free as I'm a chill factore member. It was from 9 until 11. I got as many runs down the slope as I wanted as it wasn't busy. I forgot to bring gloves on the day but it as OK as I bought some from the changing room area and they were cheap. The gloves are good quality too considering they were only a fiver. There was plenty of parking too and enjoyed a Costa before going home. Would recommend going to chill factore, particularly first thing in the morning.

User

Great facility, so lucky to have it on our doorstep. We can’t keep away- both of our kids have come on so much with lessons in advance of our skiing holiday at the end of this month. Highly recommend!

A great place to improve on your skills, or learn new ones. The Freestyle features Thurs - Saturday are fab. Thanks to the team who put all the work into building them - much appreciated. Thanks to all staff and instructors for being consistently friendly and helpful. I've been a member here for 3 years, polishing my modest snowboard skills. Can really recommend.

Went yesterday 23/7/2018 with two 8year olds , on arrival kids where really impressed and excited, whilst in queue,a member off staff came over and took us to the machine to get tickets , and said at 3pm meet in the corner and wait for your host , now my email said come 20 minutes early to get tickets and clothing , which is what we did , when we went back at 3 no one was there so went for our clothes , or host arrived and did not introduce herself or tell us where to go or what to do , eventually we where told to sit on benches 7/8, 30 minutes we was sat there with noone telling us anything , and as others people said ,we then had about 45 minutes on the altitude slides which where good, kids loved them ,but would of rather gone on which slides we wanted to , when finished we wasn't even told where to put our clothes which put a downer on what should of been an excellent day .

User

I was disappointed to go on the site to see there was an offer for 1/2 price lessons the day after I had booked. The cost for my husband and son for a full day snowboarding lesson was £260, which was very expensive but as a one off I thought I would treat them. Seeing it for half price the next day was very annoying & took the shine off the day. However, the boys had a good day and passed the level 3 which means they can now be let loose! This would have taken much longer doing individual lessons. Spectators can only get a good view if stood out in the cold & it is -5 in there, so can only stand out for short bursts. A very long and boring day for spectators with little to do. A walk over to the Trafford Centre is hairy due to the very busy and fast roads.

User

I took my grandchildren for the 6 hour beginners ski lesson. They had a fantastic day. Ski instructor was very friendly, funny and looked after them. Great place. Website needs to give more information about the day I.e breaks, lunch, removing boots, needing more lockers. The day lasts 8 hours. Still fabulous, but more practical information would have helped

User

Looked at the site online to see if it was suitable for my 2 year old. Was sold by the description of the New Moose section for 3 years and under. Went along with my wife and son. £53 later we had a girl rolling her eyes and tutting at us because she had to get three lots of waterproof clothing. I wanted to tell her what I thought about her attitude but I was trying to enjoy myself. We got all the gear and we're ready for a bit of fun. Went into the moose area and was totally lost for words. A very small area with a bit of tunnelling. A small slide that looked like an afterthought. Needless to say it was pretty empty. Next to it was a sledging area but you had to be at least 4 years old. It was really an outrageous rip off. It wasn't even soft snow it was hard. We left feeling robbed.

Thank you !
