“Now let us return to our homes with resolution in our hearts to do a little better than we have done in the past. We can all be a little kinder, a little more generous, a little more thoughtful of one another. We can be a little more tolerant and friendly to those not of our faith, going out of our way to show our respect for them. We cannot afford to be arrogant or self-righteous. It is our obligation to reach out in helpfulness, not only to our own but to all others as well. Their interest in and respect for this Church will increase as we do so.”

It was a privilege to host Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP and Steve Williams co-founders of the Chorley Pals Memorial, to our ‘Lancashire Voices of the Great War Exhibition yesterday and present them with these Chorley Pals Remembrance Gifts. #LancashireVoices

Day 2: Charity “Charity is not always about the huge acts of kindness done in public but the small quiet gifts of a smile, time to listen, I am going to make time to listen to those around me, look for opportunity to serve those in need; that maybe I would have been too busy to hear”- Christine Krizanac (this picture was taken when Christine did a charity abseil to get support for cancer research)

What a feeling. You have to experience it first hand, to apreciate it and know what it feels like to be there

Very friendly stake , loved church here. Good easy to use building and lovely people

I've been a member for 3 months now and I went to the Temple a few days ago and honestly the love and passion you feel when standing outside is phenomenal. The Temple itself is beautiful

I love going to the temple. I feel closer to my Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ

I feel priveliged to be a part of the Chorley stake, the youth are brilliant, the direction from the Stake Presidency is clear and simple, there are meaningful activities - The growth is tangible and exciting.

Best stake to be- especially blessed to have the temple so close.

Absolutely fantastic. Really great reception, and I always enjoy myself when I'm there

I think its great for families but not good for single adults. There is no sungle adult programme. Activities are 0. I hoped the SA programme would be better being in such a large lds populated area but its not. My advice to any singltons thinking of coming, is 'its a great place to visit for the temple but stay in your home ward and go to activities around the country'.
