Thanks to everyone for their nice words about last week's play but in answer to the most common question - no, the actor playing Jefferson Steele was not American! He's from Horwich. Anyway, here's some of Jefferson's finest moments...

Our thoughts today are with Houghton Weavers as they say goodbye to their lead singer Tony Berry, who sadly died 2 weeks ago. We've had many great nights with the Weavers and Tony was always a friendly presence - telling stories and singing songs with warmth and humour. The show will go on but it won't quite be the same. Our condolences to Tony's family and friends.
