We're handing over all our social media accounts this evening so I just wanted to say a quick farewell to you all. Its been a pleasure to get to know so many of you and your families. I'd love to know how many babies we've had through these doors!! We'll miss you all lots but I'm sure we'll bump into some of you from time to time. We're both working in the shop for the rest of the week. Thank you to the many of you who have popped in to say cheerio and to those of you who have been incredibly kind and generous with the lovely cards, flowers and gifts. Absolutely love this picture! Jamie and his family have been part of the CCBD family from the beginning! The first picture was 19/10/12 and the second is 19/4/19. It's been a pleasure and a privilege watching Jamie and so many other children grow up in our shop 😍 Feel free to add pictures of your Choux Babies (big and small) in the comments x We'd love to see them x

This is our last week as owners of CCBD. After Easter we will hand over to the new owners. All lot of people thought we were mad when we decided to set up shop 7 years ago! We had a lot of obstacles to overcome and we literally put everything we had, including blood, sweat and tears into setting up the business. It was a massive learning curve and we made plenty of sacrifices on the home and family front but we got there in the end. The shop has become so much more than w...e first imagined; it's like a living thing, changing and growing all the time and we decided it was time to hand over to new owners so that we can focus on our family, home and new careers. We'll be working together with the new owners over the next 2 weeks to handover and give them the best possible start but unlike us when we started they have a lot of experience so we have no doubt you'll all be in safe hands x x

It's our lovely Angelas last day today! Our lovely Mum has been with us from day one. She was here 7 days a week at the beginning and we literally couldn't have done it without her! She's entertained countless children, washed about a million dishes and made a lot of friends. We can't thank her enough for all her hard work x

i have been twice this week Tuesday with my two year old we enjoyed a lovely sausage butty and hot chocolate and my husband and two year old this morning for a hot drink this place really is lovely

We love Chouxchouxbeedoo. It's a lovely cafe with great food & friendly service - we don't get to visit often enough but you always remember us when we do. Definitely 5 star � The girls can't wait for your summer holidays to be over so they visit during theirs.

Myself and my daughter (aged 2.5) come here for brunch fairly regularly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and cakes are fab!

I love that my daughter gets a cup of squash and a piece of fruit with her meal too. Also the bookshelf is good for her too!

The craft items they have on sale are lovely too and I've bought some beautiful unique presents from their displays.

My mum and I had a lovely lunch here, sat in the front window in the sunshine. I've known about it for ages but hadn't got round to paying a visit but yesterday was a good opportunity and we seized the day. A lovely local space to chill out in, over a drink and bite to eat, whilst having a natter. A cake is going to be on my list on my next visit. Thanks so much Janine

My first visit yesterday,visiting my son & Grandaughter,he took me round for lunch,the panini was lovely,the staff are very friendly,a homely place,immediately clean,can honestly say it won't be my last visit

I've been coming to CCBD for 16months and it is such a lovely place. The staff are always friendly and very accommodating even when I've gone in with a pram which not all places are like that. The food is fresh and the cakes are amazing. I can't wait to pop in again soon.

I took my four year old son to the cafe last week and we received excellent service. The owner was friendly and spoke to my son as well as me - something I always appreciate. The warm chocolate cake was lovely. We’ll definitely be coming again.

First visit today for my friends birthday treat.. Quirky decor, nice atmosphere, tasty food and delicious cake.. Staff were very accommodating and cut the last piece of cheesecake into two as we both wanted it and it was the last slice.. Looking forward to visiting again soon.. Thank you!

Enjoyed lunch here but the real reason for visiting was having seen the cakes on offer. I have to say the strawberry victoria sponge was THE MOST DELICIOUS I have ever tasted in my life. Can't wait to go again, hope it's on the menu next time although the others looked just as scrumptious!

Amazing place been a few times now the cakes are amazing and staff so friendly. Today's visit was for my mums birthday and they literally couldn't do enough for us. If you get the opportunity to try the chocolate and lime pie its immense!! Thank you as always chouxchouxbedoo xx

Absolutely adored it, so quirky, as soon as I saw the pics on the wall of Disney memorabilia, I was hooked. Believe the ladies even dress up in vintage dresses occasionally. Very polite and helpful, didn't mind us asking to display a Terryokee business card in the sassy display. Loved it, loved it, loved it, and obviously cake and coffee heaven . ��

A really lovely home from home place xx Janine wears the prettiest of dresses which complement the tearooms perfectly. Pete makes the most delicious cakes everyday but my favourite is the breakfast bagels with a chai latte xx a weekend isn't a weekend unless I call in. I love it xx

A gorgoeus, homely place with wonderful food and friendly atmosphere. Janine and her Chouxchoux family always welcome everyone warmly and it is a lovely place to drop in for a chat, lunch, coffee or a slice of delicious homemade cake. We love coming here as often as we can because it's so fab and also to very importantly support a local business. Can't recommend enough.

Went today no seats and felt uncomfortable as 2 people offered to give us their table for 4 but the proprietor told them not to move over for us and to finish their meal as we had not asked them to move over we felt unwelcome she is obviously not bothered as she is busy anyway but all patrons should be made to feel welcome she has the wrong attitude for a so called manager in the service industry!!!!

Was not impressed. Found the staff rude to myself and a group of friends we went with. So I gave benefit of doubt and visited again and found the same arrogant attitude. Shame as it could be a fantastic place
