Roku Gin is a distinctly Japanese spirit. “Roku” translates to “six” in Japanese and their gin draws a lot of influence from this number. The spirit itself contains six Japanese botanicals and is presented in a hexagonal bottle (six sides) embossed with these six key ingredients.
In a process unique to Roku, the botanicals are distilled separately across four different types of pot still to ensure maximum flavour and to maintain the individual characteristics of each delicate element.

BOOK NOW! We have decided it’s time for another Tipple on Friday 31st August. This is a great way to explore the world of gin or to try gins you may not have come across before. We will be showcasing some of the latest small batch gins selected to illustrate the breadth of flavours available in today’s fabulous artisan gins. We serve the gins in our lovely Copa glasses, with Fever Tree tonic and individually paired garnish to your table and once we’ve talked you through the variety you can then enjoy tasting each gin at your own pace. What a little hidden gem, can get hectic when busy as it is small. We had the cocktails and they were to die for.

Welcomed by a lovely lady, Amy, who really knows her way around gin!! She gave us ideas and advice on which gins, tonics and garnishes went together and came up with some delicious and refreshing drinks for us!! She was friendly and welcoming at all times. Even when a group of obnoxious men came in making inappropriate comments towards her, she remained professional and served them with some amazing drinks � Will definitely recommend!! Thanks Cin Cin and Amy in particular �

The best thing to happen to Darwen for a long time, a hidden gem! My favourite bar � the decór, atmosphere, staff and drinks are all amazing!

The best place for a drink in darwen, the quality of the drinks are the quality I expect in Manchester or London. Honestly wish I could live there. Beautifully decorated, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and just had a great time ! Will deffo be going again � hats of to the owner because I thought darwen was on the down until someone showed me this place last night. Also if people complain about the prices I don’t understand 2 cocktails or 12 pound at that quality I thought was amazing and 2-10 on gin and tonics it’s not just some cheap tonic with ice and house gin. It’s a range of high quality gins and high quality tonics served beautifully � ! Will be back for sure

Such a brilliant and innovative bar that sits perfectly in the centre of Darwen. Although small in size, it's a great place to go for a quiet midweek drink or the start of a weekend night out. Friendly staff and amazing drinks 😍

Like the new soft seating and tables upstairs, good beer, nice mojitos for Jan, we need more of this in Darwen

It’s all about the garnish. Gin is Gin. The garnish isn’t. Cin Cin was adept and comfortable with customer request. A beautiful bar with knowledgeable and professional staff, I know I’m going back to Cin Cin.

A very well run and relaxed Gin Bar, no idiots and all who sail in her are so friendly. This is our 2nd visit and will not be the last.
