ADVANCE NOTICE! Due to the giants arriving at the weekend unfortunately our service will be suspended from Thursday evening until Monday morning, we apologise for any inconvenience and if you are coming into the city to catch a glimpse of them have a great time 😀

Due to road closures we are experiencing long delays this means our last tour of the day will not be picking up at William Brown Street, if you need to get on the bus please go to the nearest stop which is Stand 2 Queen Square Bus Station, we will arrive there at approx 4.55pm sorry for any inconvenience

Everyone at the City Explorer would like to say a huge congratulations to our Customer Service rep Michael, who has today smashed his A Levels and got his place in University!! Well Done Michael and the best of luck for the future 👏🎓

The original Philharmonic Hall which opened in 1849 and was destroyed by fire in 1933, despite over 100 firemen tackling the blaze sadly it was damaged beyond repair, the new hall that we have today was officially opened in 1939 and cost the grand sum of £120,000 to build, it was renovated in 2015 at the cost of £14million!!, if you haven't had the honour of visiting the hall yet it is well worth a visit, the nearest stop to hop off our bus is stop no.9 (Philharmonic Pub)

In true British style we have rain ☔ but don't let that put you off a trip on our bus! Ask your driver for your complimentary poncho to keep you dry! Here's our lovely boss and her daughter modelling theirs 💃

Our driver John is about to show us all that he's not really scared of heights when he abseils down Liverpool Cathedral on Saturday, he is raising money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital. if you would like to show your support pop along to cheer him on as he takes the plunge at 3.18pm, if you would like to donate contact any of our drivers or our box office, thanks guys 👍
