Preston Peak Climbing Club will be relaunching from September! With the success of our trial club over the summer holidays we are sure it will be a popular one!
Aimed at (but not limited to) 6 to 11 year olds we shall be running "An Introduction to Climbing" at 6pm every Monday from the 10th September for 6 weeks. This will cover warm ups, harnessing, basic movement and safety, fun challenges and group work.
And from Monday 29th October at 6pm (for 6 weeks), we shall be run...ning "Level Up" - a more advanced course to include belaying and knot tying, but still keeping the fun learing aspect.
Each member will receive a CnC T-shirt and water bottle, a membership card for discounted climbs and a free dropslide experience (120cm minimum height restriction applies). We will also throw in a presentation party at the end of each course with pizza and certificates!
The price of each course is ┬Ż65 but if you book both together we can offer a small discount, taking the total price to ┬Ż120.

Clip n Climb Preston are recruiting for Arena Team Members. This will be on a part time, zero hour contract basis. You will be asked weekly for your availability and hours will be given dependant on the needs of the business. You will be expected to cover mainly weekends and school holidays, but there may be hours available during the week. The rate of pay will be NMW. We are based just off Bluebell Way and are on a main bus route from Preston.
The centre has 20 individual cl...imbing wall challenges of various designs and difficulty, testing agility and courage in different ways. With 24 climbs to attempt, soft play for under 4ŌĆÖs and a caf├® area overlooking the climbing arena, there is something for everyone.
No climbing experience is needed, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn. A big personality is a must as there is lots of customer contact and interaction. You must be willing to work hard and to use your own initiative, have a good work ethic and be reliable. The role will include a range of tasks, including instruction, cleaning, giving safety briefings and a small amount of cafe cover may be required also.

Clip n Climb Preston are recruiting for a Cafe Assistant. 16 hour contract to cover Saturday and Sunday. Overtime may be available mainly weekends and school holidays. NMW. We are based just off Bluebell Way and are on a main bus route from Preston.
Our cafe sells a range of sandwiches, toasties and other simple food options. We also hold children's parties and cater for these on site.
You must have at least 12 months experience in a similar role including food prepara...tion, customer service, cash handling, record keeping. Food hygiene qualification preferred.
You must be willing to work hard and to use your own initiative, have a good work ethic and be reliable. The ability to multitask and to work well under pressure is a major factor as the environment can be noisy and extremely busy at times. There may be some lone working, although there will be other people in the centre to assist you if necessary.
This role would suit someone with an outgoing personality, perhaps someone slightly more mature who can get along with all kinds of people and give our customers an amazing experience.

What a great venue! Just hosted a 9th birthday party here. The kids had a whale of a time, the climbing walls and drop slide are amazing and the staff were fab. The party food (pizzas and ice cream) were also top quality.

Visited tonight with 22 Scouts / Young leaders and 3 older leaders ( over 18 +++). Had a great evening. The staff were great with young and older alike. Encouraging and supportive. There was enough to keep everyone busy, climbing encouraging, cheering and sliding. One scout said he knew he'd made progress because at the start he was only going a little way up but at the end he nearly got to the top. A great way to add challenge and excitement.

This place is Awesome brought my daughter yesterday we both loved it. The staff were friendly and very helpful. After safety talk, we were both first timers, was a bit nervous but the staff helped us along and encouraged us. Before we knew it we was both climbing to the top and hitting the buzzers. Great family fun. Must also mention the milk shakes was also very good. Already recommended to friends via Facebook looking forward to returning soon.’┐Į’┐Į

Thanks to the lovely staff at Clip and Climb who have allowed us to postpone our visit today after school the M6 was shut and we would not have got in or out of Preston easily. Have not yet visited and canŌĆÖt wait to come in a couple of weeks, thank you x

Really helpful and friendly staff. My children (4 & 6) absolutely loved it, as did myself and my husband. Great activity for developing physical skills and confidence. Limits are put in the number of people that can use equipment which meant there was always a wall to climb. Great place ’┐Į

Lovely friendly staff. Kids had great time climbing and I enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and cake whilst they had fun. My little girl was upset before she started climbing (her tooth was coming out) and one of the team helped calm her down and got her a slushy.

Just been tonight for Date night with a difference and WOW it was just amazing !! The whole experience was so fun and the effort the staff made setting up the tables for valentines lovers was just A*. The staff made us feel so welcome and made the evening more enjoyable ’┐Į’┐Į

Thank you so much we throughly enjoyed our evening and I will defiantly be coming back..... especially next valentines if you do same again !!!

I took my 5 yr old grandson here and the staff were great with him. There is a safety video to watch first and he had to answer questions in what he saw. The place is clean, safe, and fun. A great way to introduce children to climbing.

I took my 4yr old and 6yr old this week and they enjoyed it so much that we took them back 2 days later. Sam, one of the instructors/helpers, was absolutely ace with the kids. Totally recommend it.

I have taken my 6 year old a few times and he never doesn't want to go. He loves it. He stretches and challenges himself more each time. It is a brilliant exercise for children and adults alike.

Great Venue - took a group of Beaver Scouts and they loved every minute. From the time of booking to the actual climb night - staff were brilliant and very helpful could not fault anything -Thanks to the whole team.

Brilliant experience for us all. Venue not too big so doesnŌĆÖt feel overcrowded. A nice way for youngsters to burn off a little energy. Cafe area nice and very clean. DidnŌĆÖt sample the food so canŌĆÖt give a personal opinion but seeing what people ordered and were served it looked really nice. Will definitely pay another visit.

The climbs are so much fun, the staff each time (Claire and Josh) have been really friendly and helpful, and the cafe area is great, with fab coffee (a must for all toddler owning parents!). The only reason I've not given it 5* is it's a bit too expensive to be a very regular thing for us. Shame because we'd be there weekly!

Brought my 11 year old & friend yesterday for the first time. Parking was limited but we eventually got accommodated! We were 5 minutes late due to traffic & getting lost but your guy on reception was fab. After the H&S was over my son thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was clearly very busy due to school holidays and I found that my son spent quite a lot of time with his hand in the air waiting. That was my only criticism! The customer service in the cafe was excellent and my son had already said we will return. I would just like to see a higher ratio of staff to climbers on my next visit. Great place

First .. Great idea gets kids moving and out of the house. Nice clean facility, reasonably priced cafe and car parking. Would have been 5 stars but for the staff. Whilst the cafe staff were good and the female climbing attendant was good, the other staff were poor. A young guy in a green hoodie couldn't have looked any less disinterested if he tried and another in a white t shirt and black hoodie spent all his time twirling his keys and following other members of staff around talking to them none stop.



This is the sort of facility that really needs attentive staff for both the experience and for safety. Disappointed a few staff who look so bored could affect what should be a great afternoon out.
