Nursery Open Afternoon We still have places in our Nursery for September. If you have a child (or know someone who has a child) who is 3 before the 31st August 2019 you are eligible for a full time, free school nursery place. Our nursery was judged as outstanding by Ofsted in November 2017. We are having an open afternoon on Thursday 2nd May at 1.15pm. Come along and listen to a professional story teller, meet the staff and explore the nursery classroom.

The P.T.A have signed up with https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk to help raise funds. All you need to do is sign up and set FRIENDS AT BROADHURST as your cause. Shop for the things you would normally buy and the shops donate to school funds.

Welcome Back. We hope you had a lovely break. Happy New Year to you all.

The E.Y.F.S. and Key Stage 1 have been planting trees this week. A massive thank you to all the parents that came in to help.

We Went Silent. This week we spent 20 minutes in silence (hard work in a school). We did this to start our fundraising efforts to buy a well in Ecuador. Thank you to everyone who donated to sponsor the effort and we are still accepting donations.

Looking forward to the SUMMER FAIR next week (7th July) 11am-2pm. It promises to be an amazing day.

We have decided that we will remain closed tomorrow due to the conditions on the Fairway and roads and pavements around school.

We are waiting to see what the conditions are like tomorrow before making a decision on school closure we will inform parents before 7 am if school is open or closed.

Due to the bad weather conditions school will be closed today. This decision was not taken lightly. The safety of the children,families and staff is our priority.

We had a fantastic turnout for the 'Book People' bus yesterday. Mrs McCormick was thrilled with the total spend, which means we've earned lots of commision to buy books for classes too!
