Very average and greasy fish & chips. Definitely cashing in on their location as people get their fish & chips and sit on the seawall to watch the sun set.

Nice chips and mushy peas. Great location. Service could be friendly?

Big queue and poor quality. We had heard good things and it was a very popular place so I am sure we just got a bad day.

Appalling customer service! Food is ok. Location is the best thing about the place.

Best fish and chip shop in the world. Super fresh fish, and big fat chips. Plus home to the baked bean fritter, a unique culinary delight that I got into during my vegetarian years and which I still love now. Plus, you can eat your dinner on the Cobo sea wall and watch one of the best sunsets in the world. What more do you want? Heaven.

If you are hungry, you will get food. Food just about ok. Service was curt. Was told there were no chips left as they were closing in a couple of minutes but there was 15 minutes left. They just wanted to go home I think.

Good fish and chips, but the highlight is the location. Take your meal straight down to eat on the beach!

Somewhat ironically, the best thing about Cobo Fish Bar isn't the place itself, but its location - almost right on the seafront, overlooking Cobo Bay. The sunsets from here can be spectacular, and the perfect accompaniment to your fish and chips. There isn't a lot of outdoors seating, but that doesn't matter when you can just walk across the road and down on to the beach. The quality of the food, however, varies depending on what you ask for and how long ago it was cooked, so asking for things to be cooked fresh is advised. Even then you might get some great food one weekend and then something less good the next; a little more consistency would make the world of difference.

I was really looking forward to having fish and chips ,so today we bought some £13 for the two of us. These must have been the worst fish and chips I have ever had, the fish was full of bones, the chips where very hard, and the curry sauce was Luke warm. I will give it 2/10
