When I'm not singing, acting or buying expensive designer handbags, I like nothing more than a visit to Colwyn Bay Watersports to dip into the beautiful Welsh water. What an amazing experience! I have taken a group of young wheelchair users to the centre today who have been lucky enough to drive a boat and also go sailing in a catamaran.



The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble, and no disability was a hurdle to participation.



It truly is one of the best experiences I have taken a group to in over 10 years of running activity days.



If you need an activity for a disabled person or group, do not hesitate to book here!

Went Windsurfing with my 6year old son last week we both had a great time and special shout out to Owen who was amazing with my son great place and in a great location highly recommend as was our first time and will definitely be revisiting�

We had nearly 2 full hours in the boat. Our instructor was very patient and gave clear instructions.



He was very relaxed which settled our nerves.



Can't wait to do it again. Thinking about the 2 day beginners course.

We had a brilliant speedboat taster session. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and gave excellent tuition. Would highly recommend them to anyone who fancies an exhilarating experience on the water.

Thank you so much for today for taking us on the power boat , it was sooooo much fun and i got to have a go at full speed haha and thanks for taking us to see the seals too it was amazing :D defo defo be back !!!

Just completed the two day RYA Powerboat level 2 training course with Mark and had a great time. Three of us on the course with a mix of experience (I had none) and Mark managed to tailor the training so that we all qualified no problem. Cafe is available on site serving sandwiches (baguettes) and posh sausage rolls whilst the Watersports centre has an honesty “bar” for tea and coffee. Excited to continue my developing my skills by volunteering at the centre. Highly recommended.

I'm a diver with Chorley 304 BSAC, we wanted to dive the Penhros, choosing the nearest slipway we could to cut down the on-water-transit. Seeing they have a tactor launch to help us with our 5.5m RIB, made arrangements with them.



Outstanding, Professional, Friendly, Approachable, Watchful (seaward), being a few words to describe why i'd recommend the centre wholeheartedly to any dive clubs, from any training agency, who dive a RIB and are looking to dive our world-war-marine-heritage within Liverpool Bay area.

I went to Colwyn Bay Watersports this weekend for an intermediate windsurfing course and learnt so much in a short space of time! The facility is excellent, and the instructors are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do - they kept the whole group captivated and in good spirits despite the cold weather. They were very welcoming, and nothing was too much for them!

Had a super time on our powerboat experience... seeing the seals at little orme was fab too ..great couple of hours .. a bit cold but that’s the welsh weather ..

Great water sports activity provider for young learners!

Great staff, great activities, instructors have loads of knowledge. Would highly recommend. Brilliant day out for all the family to enjoy!

Great place clean tidy and organised

Arrived on Saturday 30 Sept for a stag party. Spent the entire day with the centre, surf boarding in the morning and catamaran sailing in the afternoon. Can't recommend these wonderful people highly enough. The entire experience from booking the day on the phone with Ewan to arriving, booking in, getting prep’d and having fun on the water in the morning with Jane with the wind surfing and Lloyd in the afternoon on the catamarans was great. The knowledge and skill set of the instructors was second to none and all very friendly and professional. There were complete novices in the party who had neither windsurfed nor sailed before and came away with a great experience, some wonderful memories and a keen interest in taking these pastimes further. Highly recommend

An amazing centre with amazing instructors. I had a great time learned so much. I moved from being a beginner to an intermediate in two days! Well worth every penny. If you ever want to become a windsurfer this is the place to go.

A fantastic 2-day powerboat level 2 course. Instructor Mark was knowledgeable, understanding and patient- and we had a lot of fun! Highly recommended to anyone �

Good support, equipment and options for hire.

Teaching was of a good standard but not happy about learning in a shallow lake full of stagnant water and weeds, especially having asked about the taster beforehand and being told it was in the sea before purchasing.
