Hello and welcome to my Facebook page.
My name is Louise Kenworthy and I am a Podiatrist. I thrive on getting patients back on their feet. So if you’ve got a sports injury, trouble with your nails, a verruca, painful corns or callous, or you are just suffering from sore feet, then you have come to the right place and I’d love to see you in my clinic.
Since qualifying from the University of Huddersfield in 2003 after gaining my BSc Honours in Podiatry, I have worked within both the NHS and Private sectors, giving me a wealth of experience in all areas of Podiatry. I am extremely passionate about my work and enjoy the daily challenge of meeting lots of new people with differing foot care needs. In order to keep up to date and ensure the best treatment options are available I regularly attend additional training courses to enhance my practice including:
* Post Graduate Certificate in Podopaediatrics (Childrens Feet)
* Masters Module in Clinical Biomechanics
* Masters Module in Neurological Conditions
* Attendance at Biomechanics Summer School
* Shadowing days with Sub 4 Health in their biomechanics facility
* Certificate in attendance at Joint Manipulation course
* Certificate in Nail Reconstruction
* Certificate in Basic Life Support
* Certificate in administration of Local Analgesia
* Speaking at Podiatry conference
* Yearly updates in Core Podiatry modules including Dermatology, Rheumatology, Vascular assessment, Pharmacology, Diabetes, Record keeping
* Keeping up to date with all recently published research in Podiatry and learning how to implement into my practice.
I am very passionate about Sports podiatry and love the challenge of finding out where your aches and pains are coming from. I see it as a jigsaw puzzle putting all the pieces together with my high tech gait analysis equipment and my own clinical experience to put together a individual treatment plan to you. As Complete Podiatry is located within a physiotherapy and sports injury practice, this also allows me to work jointly with the Physiotherapist and Sports Therapists.
I’ve worked with professional athletes, through to people who just want to get back on their feet and enjoying life again. So if you fit anywhere on that scale I offer a complete service to help you.
I also provide a chiropody service which means I can help with nail care, painful corns, or treat fungal nails. The phrase I love to hear from patients, and I hear it a lot, following their treatment is " I feel like I'm walking on air". Why not join them by getting rid of that troublesome corn preventing you from wearing your favourite shoes, or that painful hard skin that is stops you enjoy your walking.
When not in clinic I am slightly obsessed with football and love watching the game (particularly the girls that are playing amazingly well at the minute! ) I also enjoy spending time with my family.

Very pleased with the service received today from Louise. Was a little nervous before I went in but she instantly made me feel at ease. Highly recommended.
Thank you Louise for my treatment and renewing of my nail reconstruction. I'll try and send some pictures whilst on holiday all pointed and in shoes with no toes ���
Louise is amazing so knowledgeable! My son has type 1 diabetes and he had his feet checked by Louise! Louise informed him about the need to keep his blood sugars in good control and explained what she was doing at each point. Louise is a highly professional warm person I would highly recommend and trust!
Just had wonderful, very short notice, treatment by one of their podiatrist. Can't recommend them enough. Very easy 'chair side' manner, with advice on self care to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. Thanks

Just been today and came out with a very happy boy, as it’s took 2 yrs to get an answer for his knee, differently worth every penny onwards and upwards for from now. Highly recommend Louise and the biomedical assessment can’t thank you enough xx
I was very lucky to have the hot foot wax on my feet and it felt amazing, my feet felt so soft afterwards. I would definitely recommend this to anybody thinking about having it done �, thank you very much Louise xx
