About Cotswold Friends

Cotswold Friends - reducing isolation and supporting independent living

Cotswold Friends Description

We are a local charity providing friendship, support and transport to older and vulnerable people in the north Cotswold community. We aim to combat loneliness and isolation with our voluntary services, which improve health and wellbeing and support independent living. Cotswold Friends page is for sharing our services with the Cotswold community. We cover Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire Cotswolds (please see our map on our website)
We always welcome volunteers so whether you have volunteered for charity work before, or are new to the voluntary sector, Cotswold Friends has the right role for you. With four services, which operate across the north Cotswolds, you are always in the right place.

Our services run 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so we can always find a time to suit you.

Your commitment can be as little as an hour a fortnight, or as much as ten hours a week; or you could offer occasional support, offering holiday cover for regular volunteers. You just need to be committed to the level of support you have offered, so we know that we can rely on you. If you would like to drive, befriend, support full-time carers with respite, provide gardening or IT services, help at lunch clubs or set up a new social group, just let us know.

We would like to thank all our funders and sponsors, who make it possible for us to deliver our services to the north Cotswold community. With this funding we are now able to support over 1, 000 vulnerable people, reducing loneliness and isolation, improving health and wellbeing, and supporting independent living.
