Trees are so vital to our environment and to good farming practice, and we’d love to find your tree a spot where it can grow to maturity!! In fact we accept any donations of living trees, anytime... Meet Christmas!
Today we visited Longway Community Kitchen with our friends from Barrow Raiders to spread the Christmas cheer!! Please give to those in need in your own communities this Christmas; time is as good as money!
Cowran Estate Services doing great works at the Barrow Raiders Rugby Stadium last week! We look after the stadiums steel work, and here we are erecting huge ten metre sponsorship signs on one of the main stand roofs, on behalf of Matt Johnson and Salthouse Mills.
PUMPKIN AMNESTY - We will happily accept donations of any left over pumpkins (whole or otherwise); if you’ve still got them please, please don’t just throw them in the bin from where they will be delivered to rot in land fill; consider dropping them at the farm (Pennington. LA12 0JW), where we can use the flesh and the seeds, feed them to the animals, use them as plant pots for young trees, or compost them for use in our vegetable or bee garden projects!

Our Outdoor Yoga taster sessions last week were an overwhelming success; thank you to all those who came to support us and take part!! We've had loads of messages asking if we are going to provide ongoing yoga sessions, and the answer is definitely yes! We are hoping to start weekly classes in the next couple of weeks, we'll keep you updated via our facebook page...

Outdoor Yoga tonight, it's open to everyone, bring your friends and family; don't forget, come and join us! The first taster session starts at 5pm until 6pm, and the second is 6.30pm until 7.30pm. We've got a marquee set up for shelter and shade, and we'll have some water available, so don't worry about the heat. If possible please bring your own yoga mat and a drink, if you can't don't worry, we've got some spares! Our address for those that don't know is:Cowran Estate, Pennington, Nr. Ulverston, Cumbria. LA12 0JW. (satnav should bring you to the gate)... Any last minute info call 01229 483850 and the estate office will help you!
