Could also be relevant in Cheshire!
Fantastic space pictures from Middlewich - including one amazing image of the Orion nebula. There might be some breaks in the cloud this evening to take part in our Star Count: 🤞https://www.cpre.org.uk/get-in…/tak e-action/star-count-2020/ 🌟

One of the views on a circular walk from Wildboarclough to Three Shires Head - a route that one of our volunteers shared for an organised walk with Cheshire Branch members in July 2010 which we have been enjoying ever since!

We're here at University of Chester this morning, looking forward to meeting lots of new volunteers! Come and see us in Binks Building and find our more about getting involved 🌳🌿🌱
Lots of interesting facts and fun activities for families in CPRE's new pack created to support the Star Count taking place from 21st - 28th February. You can download a copy via the link below - please feel free to share the link with anyone who you think would be interested.

Definitely something that I've noticed - also the fact that you can leave the window open and the light on in warm weather and the house doesn't fill with flying creatures...

The annual Bluebell Walk at Tushingham Hall will take place this year on Sunday 26th April. A date for your diary and a reminder that spring is just around the corner... despite the snow, sleet, hail and wind of Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis waiting to ambush us again at the weekend!
Interesting - call from Northwich councillor Sam Naylor for Winnington rail line to be reopened, some comments calling for the land to be used instead for a traffic-free cycle route. Any thoughts? https://www.northwichguardian.co.uk/…/1 8217283.rip-winning…/
One fantastic Cheshire wetland site is Marbury Reed Beds - always teeming with birdlife what ever time of year, and a brilliant place to see starling murmurations. Any suggestions of other wetland sites in Cheshire? Please comment!
