Join John Pindar Arts for this 3 hour monotype printing workshop. You will explore cut and natural stencils and masks, such as leaves and grasses, textured stamping tools, the effect of the resilient nature oof gelatine and different types of prints. You'll enjoy a creative evening, producing a series of unique prints. Refreshments provided.

Join Emma and Simon Kirk, otherwise known as String Theory, for an afternoon of making your own custom piece of String Art. You will make a large letter of your choice in a string colour of your choice. This will look gorgeous in your home or as a personalised gift!
You will be provided with the wood, nails, string and step by step instruction. All you need to do is BYOH (Bring Your Own Hammer).
Creating String Art involves 2 main activities; hammering nails partly into wood ...and guiding string around the nails to build interesting patters, letters, shapes and designs. Places are limited but things may get quite noisy when everyone is hammering. The stringing part on the other hand can be incredibly relaxing and therapeutic.
By the end of the workshop you will have made your own 25x25cm piece of personalised string art to take home, learned a new skill and made a few more like minded crafty friends.
The workshop is great for people of all skill and experience level as we will be there to help you at every step.
A drink and biscuits will be provided.
