Well worth a visit when in Liverpool

Stayed here last night with my husband. Hotel is nice, staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a late check out for 2 o'clock but we were woke up twice by people knocking on the door wanting to know when we were leaving and also reception rang and woke us up. Would still come back and stay again though. Thankyou xx

Stayed here last Friday and Saturday. Beautiful Art Deco hotel, our room was lovely - very comfortable - and all the staff were really helpful and friendly. I loved all the little extras provided and would highly recommend it. We can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you.

Stayed for a 2nd time on Saturday 30th September. Paid for an executive bedroom and was given room 344. Loved going down to the exective lounge and this experience is well worth the additional cost. Some strange filming was taking place in one of the executive rooms during early evening and my partners mind was working overtime!! Lovely evening spent in Liverpool and then came back to shouting and screaming from room next door rm 342. Did knock to check the lady occupant was ok but then recieved a mouthfull of drunken abuse! Contacted reception and half an hour later it was quiet but this did spoil the end of what was a perfect evening. Breakfast on Sunday morning was very nice. Staff were very polite and very attentative. Absolutely love the Art Deco and the history of Speke Airport. Will definately stay again. Ideal for the airport also.

I would recommend the Crowne Plaza Liverpool-John Lenn staff are so helpful upgraded my room without asking With no extra cost as well made us feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble excellent Room First time we stayed there Wouldn't hesitate Stay there again Lots to do Places to go

I booked hotel car parking and stay as part of a package and then added three course dinner and breakfast - all through holiday extras and think we had an amazing deal

There was a slight issue over what had been booked and what hadn't ben booked but that was all sorted easily with my booking confirmation.

Our room was fabulous and such a comfy bed especially given we'd just had a week in a very hard Moroccan bed - everything you'd hope for and expect with this type of hotel

The three course meal was absolutely amazing

Couldn't fault anything with the meal

And breakfast was just as good - again just what we needed given where we'd returned from

Our only two niggles were a). Clearing of tables in the restaurant was slow - Both during the evening and breakfast tables were left for ages after people had left - We have a food pub so think this is important

B) there was an issue with our bill - an extra round of drinks and a stray drink had been added - this was rectified but still not funny -

Would recommend this hotel to anyone though it really finishes our holiday week perfectly xxx

Fantastic hotel especially if you’re into Aviation with the Aircraft at the rear of the hotel as this was the original Speke Airport building and not far from the new John Lennon Airport

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! We had our wedding theee a couple of days ago and from start to finish the day was amazing! The staff could not do enough for us and the whole day went so smoothly because of the fabulous staff, especially Chloe, Mel and Shelley! Would definitely book functions there again!!

Stayed for 1 night with my kids - lovely hotel and very helpful staff. Also great that we could use the David Lloyd next door. Only negative point is you have to pay £10 to park your car which isn't very fair if you are paying to sleep in the hotel? For that I give 4 stars instead of 5.

So we stayed 15 April in a family room and it was comfy we had a good night sleep and very spacious. They also quickly provided us with a travel cots as requested. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of variety to cater for all taste buds. I thought being so close to the airport it would be noisy but did not hear a thing. The only thing I would say is although the room was clean the previous guest must have vomited on the carpet and the housekeeping had not cleaned it as it was smelly and sticky 😷

As a nice little touch on checking out my boys were very happy as they received an Easter egg each as a gift.

I love the Art Deco style, may not be to some people's tastes as all the furniture looks genuine and therefore old and a bit battered around the sides. All except the bed, best bed ever, fabulous night's sleep. Rooms are a good size too.



Breakfast was ok, buffet style and lots to choose from. Some of the hot items were not as hot as they could be and there was a delay getting served by the tea/coffee waitress.



Excellent check out time of 12 o' clock means it's all very relaxed �

Bit concerned that yu hav to go to front desk to order room service

Especially after a 3.5 hr drive to get there ..

There were cobwebs above wardrobe so clearly nobody checks out the cleanliness of the rooms .



However the bed was amazing altho too small need bigger beds

Room nice n roomy .

Loved idea of sprays for bedtime.

Staff was five star me and my partner booked in to the and Ambassador suite best suite in the house check in was more than perfect



When entering the suite had my partner in tears � in happiness it was her birthday and the staff went the extra mile and had her a wonderful display with cake and a bottle of bubbly will attach pics below



Room was Beautiful nice Beatles decor over 2 floors



We went to the bar and Lunch � little mess up with food we ordered a cheese and ham ciabatta unfortunately came with mustard in as standard even tho says nothing about this in the ingredients my partner is allergic to mustard but the staff was quick to fix the problem and made up a bacon � and cheese (menu needs to be clear as could of made her very ill) staff went extra mile and gave us a desert to say sorry so this lost a star



The last star was lost due to the following club lounge which ment to have canapés etc was a let down was unmanned when we attended around 630 so no one to serve the drinks that was ment to be there which we are ment to get with the package also the canapés was very poor you had the choice of 2 items 1 was some sort of prawn � which tasted funny and not right or veg spring rolls which was not eatable as was swimming in salt layers on it



So we booked into a better package and didnt get what ment to be there



Also no air con in he room even this it is sold as air con rooms could not get the temp below 23 every time we adjusted it it piped back up and would not adjust



Breakfast in the club lounge spot on no problems this time was manned and the staff member was great and could not do enough for us so thank



Also had more breakfast in the Restaurant and the was 5 *



The hotel has a swimming pool next door and this is great also about door pool great for family’s





So over all stay was great staff awesome just couple let downs but I will say I have stayed in 7 diffrent crown plaza across England � Scotland � and this is one of my best stays I think if it hadent been for the minor faults above I. Would happpz scores 5* plus



Across the road from the hotel here is a retail park with a new Cinema being built and macdonalds Pizza Hut Nando’s etc plenty choice to eat out without traveling fare



We will be back with the kids next time

Lovely designed hotel, great reception and greeting and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The bar had run out of Shipyard on drought, Dizzy blonde on draught and had no gin glasses, so seemed to be struggling.



The breakfast was just mad!, i stay a lot at Holiday Inn’s and Crowne Plaza’s and to be fair the Holiday Inn, has this nailed but Crowne Plaza seems to struggle. Had to ask for coffee and teas, no fried eggs, no black pudding and generals poor customer service.



Hotel however is beautiful and done really nicely

Hotel and staff ok.. nothing bad to say... but really nothing else... We left the hotel at 5.30am for a flight and I couldn't get a hot drink for myself or wife due to the kitchen staff not arrived.. Maybe a note to the hotel due to were you are and some of your guests.... have a policy in place for guests leaving before breakfast time

It would really make a difference!!!

Stayed here on Saturday night with a group of friends, booked four twins and four doubles back in June and was looking forward it and didn't expect the reception I received from the front desk. THEY messed up the booking and allocated all the rooms as doubles but told me it was my fault as I hadn't specified..i had phoned 3 days prior to arrival to pay and I even gave individual names for the twins in case guests arrived separately but regardless of who was to blame the way it was handled was disgraceful, the receptionist needs training in customer management. When I responded to her in the tone she was using to me I was told I was being rude, as I was walking away I said I was going to leave feedback she SHOUTED after me "Bring it on, we love feedback" I almost went back outside to check I was actually in the Crown Plaza. As a company Buyer I have used Crown Plaza for many years but this experience has left me of the opinion I will never use them again. The only saving grace of the whole experience was the lovely manager at checkout if only she had been there the day before.

Not sure where to start,wrong room given....2nd room dirty with no bottle of wine,no dressing gown,no tissues,water stained ceiling,water stained lampshade,called reception 3 times in 24 hours no reply,room service ordered then 30 mins later cancelled as no hot food available,I will be visiting Liverpool once a month for work with my colleagues not sure this will be my hotel choice at £169 a night very disappointed,On a plus the staff where lovely.

Nice hotel - error on bill has took the hotel 1 week to fix and still waiting for money back 🤬, still waiting for new receipt - still waiting
