Wife and I stayed in Sunday night. Staff are always courteous. Place is clean and the room was comfortable.we ate in the Sampan restaurant or a change and the food was excellent the staff were very helpful and shared a joke or two with us.

Very nice room. Room service good. Everything in good clean working order. Only negative was the hairdryer which had very low power. I could have run around and dried my hair quicker. Recommend a stay.

Stayed over before an early flight to Rome 10/12/17 Reception Staff were lovely nothing to much trouble for the young girl on the desk She booked us in our car in and also booked us a 3am wake up courtesy call Room was huge spotlessly clean and the bed was very very comfy Bathroom was nice & big and again lovely and clean Drinks were a little expensive at the bars but it was nice to chill out before retiring early Courtesy transport out was a little confusing as the driver was Polish and didnt speak very good English but the return driver was lovely and very helpful Only complaint really was dirty trays left outside rooms made the place look very untidy they was there on our arrival at 2.30pm and still there as we left to catch our flight at 3.45am Def stay again

Phone for the bus is just at the top of the escalator from train station - it’s not that obvious- but the place is fabulous! Reception staff make this place !

Great place - quiet and friendly - and two mins away from the airport- would stay again - in fact - will be doing on Wednesday !!

I have just stayed before and after my holiday and have stayed many times times in the past. I have nothing but praise for the standard of the rooms and the friendly welcome. I always put do not disturb on my door to avoid any intrusion and it has always worked for me. The level of aircraft noise depends on the room location but let’s face it it is very near the airport! I have tried most of the hotels near the airport and this is by far the most reliable and comfortable.

Have stayed here twice now and absolutely loved it, even got upgraded to a club room and membership of club bar! Free drinks and food! Brilliant! The only thing was the parking which this time we found they had nearly doubled the price! £15 per night is ridiculous! So we didn’t bother bringing car this time which was a bit off a pain!

Excellent service from the moment we arrived, so convenient for an early flight, nothing was too much trouble. Loved all the little touches that make your stay more enjoyable. Best thai food I’ve ever had and all the staff were lovely, particularly Bell who made us feel so welcome. Will definitely book again!

Arrived 28th June for our 10th stay at Crowne plaza, absolutely made up to be picked as Guest of the day with free Club access, chocolates in room. Thank you so much for making our stay special and setting I hope the tone to a much needed holiday for me this year! See you in 2019 �

Quick and efficient check in. Room well appointed, beds v comfortable, aircraft noise level within reason. We were staying to surprise a family member making an early flight to a new life in a new country. Had an excellent meal in the Sapan where staff were very attentive and with the right balance of service and banter. As some other reviews say, drinks were a touch pricey and total bill was enhanced with a 15% service charge. If that was mentioned on the menu then I didn't notice it. However, that didn't distract too much from the enjoyment of the meal - we all rated it very highly. Liked the quick checkout, bill under the door, just sign and leave at reception for the amount to be debited to prearranged . card. Charge of £15/night for carpark also a bit steep. Staff in bars cheerful and efficient.

Great location .Shuttle bus was fabulous took us and collected us from a train station into Manchester. Dinner in the Grill Bar was good . It was busy so they couldn't fit us in earlier than our reservation which they didn't,t seem to have anyway. Room was more than adequate clean and quiet. Checkout good would definitely use again.

Stayed here night before flight and on return. Everything excellent on first night, no complaints at all. Comfortable room and excellent food. Return night didn't arrive at hotel till 2am. Quick check in and off to bed. DID NOT expect to be disturbed at 7:15 am by a member of staff ( think cleaner) just walking into room, did not even knock - just walked in. Luckily I had my case behind the door so the door banged into this. When I went to door just got a "sorry wrong room". This is not acceptable when most people are staying there whilst flying in or out of the country. Check out is 12 , should staff not have lists of rooms to do when guests have checked out?? Did contact reception but just apologised. Sorry but damage was done, not happy to stay again. Everyone entitled to privacy and sleep when paying for it.

I stayed here as I had a 6am flight out of Manchester. Room was good, but the TV only worked for the first 10 minutes - ended up leaving it off.

The sleep quality was good as the room was dark.

Dinner in the Sampan Restaurant was good as I managed to get a table before it was booked out.

All staff were very friendly & panini’s from the bar at lunchtime were really good. Not so good bits: in a twin room with my Mum, but only toiletries & refreshments for 1 person (housekeeping quickly delivered more when asked); room was freezing when we arrived & took hours to get warmed up sufficiently for my 80 year old Mum; left waiting for well over 30 mins at T2 - 2 empty CP buses drove straight passed me (I was at the correct bus stop) - phoned hotel to let them know & left on ‘holding message’ for over 15 minutes. Flying from Manchester myself in March - need hotel for overnight stay, but not sure whether I’d book in here again.

Used the park and fly service which was a fiasco. On landing back at Manchester we called the free phone number given to us to get the shuttle bus. We were told to wait by stand D and after waiting 20 mins we called again to remind them. The driver was very apologetic and informed us he hadn’t been told by reception we needed collection. On arrival at the hotel we were given my car keys and told the car was in zone 4. No car in zone 4 or anywhere else in the car park. The staff spent 1 hour trying to find my car and eventually it was found in a different hotel’s car park (The Clayton). The amount of time it took from landing to eventually getting my car was ridiculous and I would have even been home by this point not to mention all the stress wondering if they had lost the car for good or it had been stolen. The staff did apologise and were nice but the whole situation was a fiasco.

Stayed overnight on Jan. Staff pleasant but room was freezing! If we put auto heat on it was too noisy to sleep so had to switch it off and there was only a thin duvet on bed. Looked for blanket in wardrobe but there was nothing. So shivered all night.!! If it hadn't been so late would have rung down. Had a very poor night.

Stayed at this hotel last night, will not be staying again, the staff we un helpful, the food was aweful, our room was freezing and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Would not recommend. Do not stay here.

I paid for hotel and parking, received my car back with 40 miles on the clock looking like it had been drag races through the dessert. Crown plaza wanted nothing to do with it and passed me on to Cheshire Airport parking ... who have come back 7 days later fobbing me off.



I have now today revived a £100 parking fine form crown plazas parking eye car park company.
