Its been an EXTREMELY busy summer with double buses needed on Hawes and Barney, lots of lovely weddings, birthdays and outings and as a grand finalie to the holidays, today we have all 7 buses out on weddings! Keep an eye out for us near Bassenthwaite, Newcastle, Hawkshead and our local town of Sedbergh. We'll be creating queues all over the lakes today! Photos to follow

Just received a wonderful email from a Mr Cooke:
Hi, Having watched a recent episode of Yorshire Dales programme,I was delighted to a see a Crosville Lodedecker. As an apprentice panelbeater with the company I was required to work with Mr Jones the tradesman who only repaired wings(mudguards) on the the new fleet of Lodedeckers. The new buses as suplied to Crosville developed a fault with the front stub axle bearings,which got overheated and collapsed.... Mr Jones and I were given the job of shortening the front mudguards by 7 inches so more air could reach the bearings which cured the problem.
We went on to convert 70 or more buses.

You guys are out of this world - thank you so much. Rosie the bus was such a superstar part of our wedding day. You were so helpful and patient as we talked through the four million different options (the second bus can drive to the end of the bus but the first bus should stop at the top haha!) and you went above and beyond on the day to make sure it went smoothly- doing extra shuttles, doing an emergency parking move right opposite the church, and generally being really friendly and happy and getting stuck in. Thank you!!!

Wow! What perfect wedding transport. Will, our driver, was happy and helpful and made the journey really enjoyable for us all. The personalised tickets are such a lovely touch and the bus was decorated beautifully in our wedding colours. The scenic journey back to our hotel gave us all time to relax and admire the beautiful view. Can't say thank you enough.

We used Cumbria classic coaches to transport our guests to church and then provide a shuttle service from the church to the venue. The bus was there well on time and the professional service they provided exceeded all expectations. Made our special day more so special and was a lovely finishing touch. The driver couldn't do enough for us and ensured anything we wanted was covered. We could not recommend these guys enough, thank you so much.

We hired lawance and poppy for our wedding, they just made the wedding. The coach and car were perfect. High class service, very friendly lovely drivers would recommend to anyone wanting something different at their wedding. Loved it. Shame I can't do it all over again!!!

We hired a wedding car and coach for our wedding in whitby, absolutely first class vehicles and well maintained. Lovely family run business and would recommend to anyone. Thank you for being a big part of our wedding day at falling foss. Xx

We hired Harvey the Bristol Lodekka as it seated 60 and took most of the guests at our daughter Emily's wedding to the church at Rydal where parking is limited and then back to the Low Wood hotel after the service. I also love classic buses and Bristol ones especially so Emily and I also used Harvey to travel from the hotel to arrive in style. The bus exceeded all our expectations and was beautifully decked out and a wonderful friendly and helpful driver, Ian. Top marks to Cumbria Classic Coaches - a real pleasure to do business with you! :)

The classic double decker bus � added a great touch to our wedding! It was a great way to get all of our guests from the church to the venue together. We would definitely recommend this company! �

They offered choice of coaches, flexibility to change vehicles at the last minute as we did, personalised tickets, and a first class service...none more typified then our driver Rachel helping our three wedding car drivers apply ribbons and bows!! We can't wait to see our pictures of our wedding guests aboard Peter on a journey they said they wouldn't forget!!

I could not recommend this service any more. The buses and cars were definitely a highlight for my vintage themed wedding. Not only were the vehicles amazing on the day and also stunning in photographs, the drivers were so helpful and made my day run that bit smoother, also adding flowers in all 3 vehicles to match my theme to add to my dream day. The personalised bus tickets are a beautiful keep sake and a real hit with the guests. This is a definite MUST for any beautiful wedding and worth every penny. Definitely worth a look, they will not disappoint!!

It was a wonderful surprise and experience for the bride and hens, and everyone loved getting photos on and off the bus!
