Ok guys..... we are almost 3/4 full for our annual trip to the Manchester Christmas Markets... Saturday 15th December leaving the shop at 9.30am and then leaving Manchester at 5.30pm... coach trip raffle, fun and games on the way there... sleep on the way back ЁЯдгЁЯдгЁЯдг All places ┬г16 each and must be paid in full to secure your seat... non refundable.

Wow what can I say. Held a baby shower for my sister in law and from the minute I booked it to the day if the shower Sue who runs the cafe was just so friendly and helpful and so warming. The set up on the day was beautiful and well the afternoon tea was just out if this world so fresh and so much at such a good price and the cakes are delicious abdcwhat you can't eat you can take home. Myself and the rat if the party were well and truly stuffed and I can honestly say the whole party said what a wonderful place it is and how wonderful the afternoon tea was. I would highly recommend you visit this fantastic place I cannot highly praise it enough. Sue you and your girls are truly amazing thankyou so much from start to finish x x

I can only describe it like going to your Gran's - even after you've eaten they are still trying to feed you я┐╜ (offering to wrap up my dessert up to take home, after eating a huge plate of homemade hotpot)



We received a warm welcome, great friendly service and good home cooked food (generous portions).



Great selection on offer - we will definitely be back for the service, homely grub & fantastic community feel я┐╜

Went here with my mum for afternoon tea! Cute China cups and delicious food. Made to feel very welcome and was like a family! Would definitely recommend, good prices and great food!! Will be coming back!!

Well I canтАЩt recommend highly enough, itтАЩs not just the food thatтАЩs excellent itтАЩs the amazing staff , they really are the nicest people, nothing is to much trouble, they make you feel really special, thanks sue for our afternoon tea we had today for my mums Birthday , we will be back again for our 3rd visit я┐╜я┐╜я┐╜

We went for Afternoon Tea which was amazing and fantastic value for money...we couldnтАЩt finish it but the girls gave us boxes to bring our cakes home in! я┐╜

the free shop and pending board are such a lovely idea я┐╜

Popped in a few weeks ago just by chance and I canтАЩt stay away. What a gem Sue is and all her staff are really lovely too. Totally Love the community spirit and the pending food scheme. Helping others in need is close to the heart of this place. All the food is great from breakfast, to lunch and amazing afternoon teas. A place you feel at home in and leave smiling and wanting to come back! I just love it!

Me and my sister's visit sues quite often so thought it was only right to use her catering for a 50th party and I'm so glad we did. The buffet she put on was AMAZING. The amount of food that was there for the money we paid was incredible. We could have fed most of Blackpool town centre haha. 100% recommend and will be using sues again in the future. Thankyou xx

Just been in and had the most amazing dinner... And the carrot cake was nearly a good as my mum's (and that's a fab compliment...) lovely staff. Excellent service. Lovely place... And the pay it forward scheme is a brilliant idea.

Had our buffet from Sue today for my little girls christening. My goodness what a buffet. I cannot praise sue enough. Amazing. Very thoughtful and the buffet was amazing!!! Would 100% have my buffet from there again x

Don't really know where to start but I guess it should be by giving Sue and her team a massive pat on the back. I came (begrudgingly) along with my wife and mother in law for afternoon tea expecting to hate it and be bored stupid but instead I think I have stumbled upon an oasis of kindness in what can sometimes be a very bleak and unfriendly town. Everyone that came in was welcomed like old friends, a lot of them were very satisfied returning customers. The children were made to feel really special, there was a "shop" of donated items for people who needed them to take free of charge and there was a board of items that had been bought by customers for anyone in need of a meal or drink but without any money. A Pay it forward/suspended coffee kinda deal. As if that wasn't enough they also put on community events for local groups, again funded by donations and the goodness of Sue and her team. Blackpool does sometimes get a bad rep but amongst all of the adversity it has some pretty amazing, kind and creative souls. I'm lucky to know a lot of these people and delighted to find this fabulous place in the heart of Layton. I recommend it 100%.

Came today with my husband and son. My little boy absolutely loved the kids afternoon tea (kept calling it very British lol) and my hubby loved the ┬г2 special of the ravioli я┐╜ healthy breakfast was fab too, although ruined that with the yummy waffles haha. My son was loving the tombola (probably because he won!) Lovely staff, we will definitely come back я┐╜ thanks я┐╜ xx

Came today for a belated birthday lunch. Two of us had the afternoon tea and my husband had a breakfast. The food was fantastic and was ready very quickly. I have to say a big thank you to the two girls serving today, they are a credit to your business and we will be back very soon!

Brilliant little coffee shop! Sue is absolutely lovey and canтАЩt do enough for her customers or the community! I love that doggies can come in for a treat too! Barley and I will be regulars! я┐╜

An Absolutely amazing cafe! Sue goes above and beyond for the local community and her customers. Afternoon tea was amazing, made it into a take away for us due to someone currently with mobility issues. Food was high standard and always has been. Amazing atmosphere. This cafe is the heart of the community! я┐╜

A hidden gem! Wonderful friendly staff, amazing food and so reasonably priced. A great place for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or just tea and cake. The atmosphere is fantastic and the community spirit is evident. We love this place! я┐╜
