Wonderful staff did everthing they can to help....and sortted everything out

Today was the 6th date iv had for delivery of my new washing machine...again NO SHOW....so much for next day delivery...ordered on the 7th march 2017 ans still waiting....

More like "We'll Help you get it Wrong this Christmas"........ It all started in The Capitol Centre Store, Preston, where we walked out because the operative tried to hard sell insurance on a TV surround sound system by telling us we couldn't even get a refund on faulty goods without it !! So.... we visited the Chorley store to buy the same Sony system (£179.99). We were told, as with Preston, that we had to buy an optical sound cable (£50) to go with it.

Researching at home we found the 'optical' cable was in fact, not as good as an HDMI one and so we returned this expensive piece of equipment. The store assistant re-iterated that the optical was definitely superior and so we bought a cheaper one for £19.99. This we opened before the main sound system. Lo and behold!! The sound system came with an optical cable......... now we have an unwanted cable that has been opened and Currys won't refund the money. Plus - further reading confirms that the HDMI cable IS better for audio. I will never trust Currys staff again. They have wasted our time and money and in future I have no intention of using your Stores or trusting your staff again.. We are both over 60 and the staff seem to think this qualifies us for a good scamming. As they all seem none too bright, they probably assume we aren't either.......... how wrong they are.

I reseved an iron online and went to collect it but the customer service was the worst ive ever encountered, got ignored by 4 staff members before the manager finally noticed me and came to serve me but even then I got no apology and he tried to defend the staffs actions stating this is how they are trained! I informed them that their training seriously needs sorting out and rang their head ofgice to complain and even they tried to defend them but eventually apologised! Safe to say I will not be shopping there again!!!

After my husband visited the store yesterday to enquire about direct printers, he was told that these printers required wifi connection, he was told by a rude member it was 'rubbish' that they didn't require wifi connection! It seems they do not require wifi!! Maybe your staff require better knowledge about the products they are selling...will be buying elsewhere.
