Here's our summer opening hours. We'll now be opening on Mondays.

So, we had gorgeous weather over Easter and the asparagus grew at an alarming speed. We picked all weekend. Today the weather is not too good but we still have to pick.

Lovely hamper done up today ready for a customer. These can be made to order to your own requirements and budget.

we're open on Good Friday and Easter Saturday then closed Easter Sunday and Bank holiday Monday.

The asparagus has finally arrived. After a week of frosty nights the warmer weather has enabled us to start picking today. It's now on sale in our farm shop

Homemade cake on sale now.

We had some cake samples dropped off this week and were amazed how much artificial, Additives, E numbers etc. Were in the ' home made' cakes. So next week we're doing proper home made cake . It'll start on Thursday with a few Valentine cakes then Friday and Saturday . I've made this one earlier to give you an idea. Feel free to bring your own container to take your cake home in or we can pack it for you.

First early New Cheshire potatoes being planted today. Hopefully they'll be ready by mid May.

If you're getting bored with the winter veg we now have beautiful leafy rainbow Swiss chard and purple sprouting broccoli on sale. We're back at rode hall farmers market on Saturday. It's also the first day of the snowdrop walks. We're now going to be selling BUTTERTONS FREE RANGE EGGS. Look forward to seeing you. Wrap up warm.

We still have plenty of jobs to be getting on with even in January. We've cleared all the old tomato plants out of the greenhouses ready for the New season. Here's a before and after photo.

Back by popular demand 'oat flips ' are now back in stock.

We now have the New season Seville marmalade oranges in stock. It's a very short season so be quick. If you don't have time to make your own marmalade we sell a range of Mrs Darlingtons.

So we're now closed for christmas. We hope you all enjoy your christmas produce. We'll be open again on sat 29th then closed until the New year. Thankyou to all our loyal customers who support us throughout the year and to all the new ones. We are a small team here and all the staff are very involved in the business. We're starting to get busy now but we're well staffed and stocked up with plenty of quality produce. We''ll never run out of veg like carrots, kale or cauli as we can just get more from the field. Heres our opening hours. We're closed for a few days to give our hard working staff a well deserved break.

The weather looks a bit chilly for the weekend so how about some warming porridge. we have fresh local milk and local honey . Sorted.
