The National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE) has released a Medtech innovation briefing on the use of FES with the RT300 in SCI rehabilitation.
The report says it can be associated with an improvement in quality of life and an increase in muscle volume.

If you're in a wheeclchair buy a BATEC, yes they're a bit pricey, but so is everything in the world of wheelchairs. I 'ummed and ahhed' for a while because of the price but IT IS THE SINGLE BEST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHT, apart from my dog!!

It means I can now actually take my dog out for a decent walk on my own, go to all sorts of off road places I would never have dreamed of before and travel here there and everywhere. It genuinely is a life changer, I use it every day, so to be honest it's turned out to be really good value for money.

I received a grant via Access to Work for the Smart Drive MX2+, With Access to Work choosing Cyclone as the recommended supplier.



Back office team could not be any more helpful with an issue that was made overly complicated due to issues outside of my control.

Cyclone from when I first spoke with them 18 months ago to today when I have collected my Batec have been 2nd to none. They supplied my new mustang chair 2 months ago and after using an NHS chair for 2 years has given me complete freedom. Cost wise then you get what you pay for, cheaper products won't give you the same and there will always be a reason why they are cheaper. I look forward to long term freedom my chair and Batec will bring

Back in 2014 I started looking into a lighter wheelchair to help with my mobility issues. I contacted cyclone mobility and they came to my home with a selection of wheelchairs for me to sample. Measurements were taken and a very detailed quote was with me in days. I never knew that there was so many different options for a wheelchair but their sales representative listened and I felt at ease with my selection.



Once I placed the order I was updated regularly on the progression of my wheelchair and I was delighted when it arrived.



I’ve been using this chair every day of my life (GTM Mustang) and have never had any issues.
