We'd just like to reassure that none of our patients have been supplied any of the prescriptions or batches to be recalled and there is nothing to worry or be concerned by.

Did you know that we do testing for Visual Stress?
Visual stress (sometimes called 'Meares-Irlen Syndrome' or 'Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome') generally presents in the form of unpleasant visual symptoms when reading or close work. Visual Stress is not the same as Dyslexia, but it is more common in those who are dyslexic.
Symptoms and Signs of Visual Stress include:... ● Print moving, jumping or blurring ● Letters changing shape and/or size or fading or becoming dark ● Patterns appearing – like “rivers” running through print ● Illusions of colour surrounding letters or words ● Or any other symptoms such as headaches or tiring quickly when reading
There is plenty of evidence that shows that Coloured Overlays and Tinted Spectacles can increase the speed of reading and alleviate symptoms.

MACS is a charity that supports and helps children born with underdeveloped eyes. Children born with these conditions require life-long help and understanding.
Anyone who knows David knows he has always been passionate about the health and wellbeing of his patients. Children born with these conditions are a group that he cannot help in his professional role - so he felt like he wanted to do whatever he could for such a deserving cause.

We can now accept any lens blister packs, old cases or used contact lenses and have them sent to be recycled by TerraCycle UK. We can also accept any cardboard packing or empty solution bottles for recycling as well. We offer this to all contact... lens wearers, even if you aren't a patient with us currently!
Call in with your contact lens waste and help us all do out little bit for the environment!
