DCM Surfaces were thrilled to be awarded the contract to construct this new build MUGA at Whalley Primary School, following a lengthy tender process. 🤩
The project included all elements of the build including; excavation of the existing surface, the MOT stone build up, macadam subbase, PCC edges and 1.8m twin rebound wire fence panels around the perimeter.
Coloured line markings were added following the install, to enable multiple games such as; football, netball and basketba...ll to be played. 🏀🏐⚽️

DCM installed Evo Pro Artificial Grass as part of the new indoor soft play area.
... The installation took place on an upper floor level, meaning the access for the project had to be taken into careful consideration when delivering materials and getting equipment to the area of works on site.

Rock Up Climbing Centres opened it’s new site at Lakeside, towards the end of 2019. The new centre features 27 climbing walls and a soft play area for all ages of children to enjoy 🤩
DCM were approached by the climbing centre chain whom enquired about the installation of safety surfacing around the climbing walls and soft play equipment.
... Black wetpour was laid to a depth of 70mm to support the critical fall height requirements. Pops of colour were also part of the design to match the vibrant climbing and play equipment 🌈
