Autumn 2018 is fast approaching after the glorious Summer we have had in Newcastle Emlyn. The leaves are starting to turn yellow and will eventually turn to the beautiful browns and reds of late Autumn. The Spring blossom has made way for the fruits in the hedgerows and trees now bursting with berries and seeds ready for Winter.

Cycle Wales 600 mile Charity Ride.
Cyclists from Newcastle Emlyn are back in the saddle for Bobath Wales and the Fire Fighters Charity!
This Sunday, a group of 13 cyclists from Newcastle Emlyn will be taking on a challenge of such epic proportion that it has to date never been completed!
... The team will cycle 600 miles around Wales over 7 days to raise much needed funds for the Fire Fighters Charity and Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales.
Starting and finishing at the fire station in Newcastle Emlyn, the route will take the team along the outskirts of Wales, with the team sleeping in fire stations along with way.
“It will be a great event but also very challenging with nearly 35,000 ft of climbing to achieve over 7 days. It will be by far the biggest challenge I have ever attempted to do!” explains cycle organiser and grandparent to a child who attends the Bobath Wales centre, Dylan Walters.

Today we travelled from Pembroke to Newcastle Emlyn to buy a special gift for a special person. Debbie kindly contacted Iris Evans to pass on a commission from us.
