dropped in with family after a busy day and thought feed the family with 2 young uns under 2 and great staff couldnt have been more welcome even when my eldest decided to leave quite a mess i apologised and again couldnt have been welcoming enough dont worry about it its ok came the reply made sure the high chairs were clean food was fantastic perfectly cooked staff really polite and professional definately coming back lovely place
We had our first meal at the Devonshire Arms last night - and it was lovely, as were the staff - so helpful too, and the decor and atmosphere - brilliant. Well done to the new owners!!
We called in here today for a drink and stayed for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was gorgeous. The new owners are a lovely family all making people very welcome.
We ate here last night for the restaurant open evening. The food was absolutely amazing, and the decor lovely, it felt really cozy with a lively atmosphere. Would definitely recommend The Devonshire Arms 100%!

Lived in Wharfedale for 16 years and am used to eating and drinking in the area.
Had an outstanding meal here on Friday night where we met Phil who was very kind with our timid pet dog.
My mums gammon was beautiful and my Parmesan Chicken was the nicest I have ever had.
Both were very reasonably priced and the real ale range included 2 of my very favourites.
The overall experience was nothing short of outstanding and we will definitely be back and will also be recommending it to our paying guests who stay with us in the dales.

Just had an amazing family Sunday lunch to celebrate my sons 18th!! The owners went out of their way to accommodate us. Thank you!! Fab jazz band in!! �
It’s a long over due review as when me and my friend stayed over for a night we were treated like queens! We arrived after a hard day at work, we were greeted with a friendly warm reception, showed to our room. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Showered and changed we came back to the bar. Greeted by Phil who had remember my drink of choice! Definitely top marks for knowing your customers, after relaxing we decided to eat our tea in the restaurant. OMG is all I can say, the food is out of this world. Beautiful food! We haven’t stopped talking about the food!! Lovely nights sleep, very peaceful. Beautiful breakfast and two very happy customers who will be back again with our other half’s (when they can get away) 5 stars isn’t enough! If you haven’t you need to try! Don’t over look this little gem
Hubby and I have just come back from a lovely, relaxing overnight stay at this gorgeous Yorkshire Dales Pub.
Phil and the staff made us feel very welcome. Our room was fabulous, and we arrived to a Yorkshire flapjack each which was most appreciated after a 3hr circular walk of the area.
The food is fabulous. Reasonably priced and of a high standard. We opted for beer battered fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce.
All in all, we had a super stay and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing night away with good food, good beer and a decent nights sleep.

Having Sunday lunch and the food is fantastic. It's been taken over by a "proper" landlord with a lovely family. It's probably our favourite pub. The restaurant has been transformed and looks amazing. Seriously, well done to them, they've done an amazing job in 8 weeks xx

Called in today for Sunday lunch and was amazed. Lovely warm welcome and delicious homemade traditional food, very reasonably priced. Under new ownership so it has been refurbished. Very cosy with a lovely real fire, just what you want on a cold Sunday afternoon. A real gem of a place we will be back. Thank you.
