It’s official! 😊

So many amazing weddings this year! With the wedding season drawing to a close it was a privilege to be part of the wedding of another friend of mine. Miss Rose Longlands is now Mrs Rose Batty! I’ve know her since she was just a toddler and now I’ve had the honour of being part of her wedding day!! Such a pleasure working at the lovely Burnside Hotel & Spa in Bowness-on-Windermere. The staff were fantastic and it was great to work with some familiar faces in the wedding industry, including the legend that is Howard Wing!

Second year running!! 🤓 Also just realised I’m less than 150 likes away from hitting an incredible 4000 followers!!! That is insane! I wonder if I can hit it by Xmas? 😉😇🙏

Never have I been more excited to make a wedding video! I can only hope this has done a John & Tanya’s wedding day the justice it deserves! Such an incredible day which we’ll all remember for years to come. Thank you to everyone at Weetwood Hall Estate and to Gary Mills - Wedding DJ & Host for your hard work and hospitality on my brothers big day! Another epic weekend of weddings! Saturday saw the celebration of Chris and Ruth Heyes, what an excellent evening it was!

A massive congratulations to Michael & Kyle, the new Mr & Mr Hutchinson-Roberts! What a pair of absolute gents! Great venue, great staff, great guests - all the ingredients for an awesome evening 😊

As I’ve said before, it’s always a pleasure doing someone’s special day when they are also a good friend. It was truly an honour to be asked to be part of Jimmy & Ruths’ wedding day and catch up with some old faces. Here’s what happened!

Such a pleasure hosting the Missu Beauty Nails Fashion Event this Sunday at The Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel. With two catwalk shows and a demo area, there was lots going on! We were also joined by some of the guys from 102.4 Wish fm. Then it was on to the evening party! Sporting a James Bond theme, we were joined by the guys from Pier Fun Casinos Event Management Ltd and were treated to some jaw dropping magic from MJ King of Deception! Thanks to everyone involved in the event, it was an absolute pleasure!

Over to the amazing Grosvenor Ballrooms in Wallasey for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Johnson last weekend! Here’s what happened! 😊

Wishing Stephen & Victoria many years of happiness together! Such an honour to be part of their big day! Congratulations once again and a huge thanks to all the staff & management at The Pendle Inn, Barley Village!

What can I say, Dave really knows his stuff. He's the first person I go to if I need advice. His history as a dj speaks for itself. He's very experienced and very good at his job but the thing I always remember about Dave is how much of a nice and honest person he is. I highly recommend Dave, not only as a friend but as a customer you won't regret it.

Well where do I start! From the get go Dave was so professional and made sure we knew exactly what was going on and worked with us and our requests to help make our night go perfectly. Dave goes over and above to provide an amazing service! I also had room uplighting which just looked amazing� All the guests were so complimentary of the music and the vibe. Overall; Dave was amazing and we would 100% recommend�

We had Dave for our engagement doo last year and was so good that we booked for our wedding. In the end we had him for the whole day and helped run and make our wedding day a great success. We cant speak highly enough of him and would highly recommend him.

We had Dave as our Dj for our wedding in June. He was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond to help make our day as perfect as it was. The dance floor was never empty. We would, and have, highly recommended him to anyone and everyone.

We couldn't have asked for better DJ such a lovely man and very talented at what he does. He had the guests at our wedding on the dance floor all night. 5 stars are not enough to give him. I have nothing bad to say about Dave. He did a fantastic job at our wedding, balancing an alternative vibe with tunes that got everyone dancing. The dancefloor was busy all night! Dave was fun and totally professional from our first meeting to the last track played and was a pleasure to deal with. He really listened to what we wanted too. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I have known and worked with Dave for over 10 years and can honestly say he is one of the best in the business! He makes sure he fully understands your needs and always gives you his all on the day. His mixing skills and ability to read crowds puts him at the front of the queue when it comes to choosing your dj for your event. Lovely guy couldn't recommend him enough! : .)

I have been to several events where Dave has Dj-ed and it has always been brilliant. Such a good arrangement of music played, a really lovely, talkative guy who is more than willing to do requests if you ask. He's really funny too, really gets the crowd going. Highly recommend him!

I am a wedding planner and venue stylist and I have worked with many DJ's in many venues and some 'just do the job' but Dave does the job clearly because he loves it! He was so helpful, flexible and easy to work with.. despite the distance (four hour commute) and the full Itinerary for the first part of the evening it went so so well ... a good DJ who keeps people of all ages dancing and sings along to every song is very hard to find! A true professional and I would love to work with him again .. amazing job ... thank you ...PS I hope you had pleasant dreams on the way home after that Cabaret Rouge performance.. birds eye view � xx

From karaokes to parties to weddings this Dj is immense, gets to know u and plays songs to suit the person/people catering for! Dave also knows lots of extra people for entertainment purposes which he can also recommend to you for your event! Never an empty dance floor, gets the crowd going and is always engaging with everyone in the party! I have known dave for some years now he did my 21st birthday party, I have recommended him to friends for weddings and they were thoroughly impressed also! top bloke with an amazing talent will definitely use him again and continue to recommend him and his service! x

He was the DJ and evening entertainer at a very close friends wedding, everyone was commenting on his ability to create atmosphere with chat on the microphone and music choice.

There really isn't another person you want to help facilitate you on your special day whatever the occasion.

Very approachable and understanding, your day will go off with out a glitch with Dave Whicker at the helm.

Dave did such a wonderful job at our wedding. He made the effort to speak to all of our guests, and knew just what to play to keep the dancefloor full. He was a good laugh and very entertaining doing our “how well do you know us” pub quiz. Definitely recommend! ��

Dave DJ'd for us just over a week ago at our wedding on the 24th November. We first met Dave at a consultation we had a few weeks before the wedding and he went through everything with us thoroughly. He made sure the package we were having was suitable for our needs (a package that we had actually been lucky enough to win in a competition) and he was more than happy to offer his expertise and guidance. Dave was fantastic on the evening, he made sure all our pre-arranged requests were played and also played people's requests on the night. He was also great with the kids and entertained them throughout the evening. The icing on the cake was the fab video Dave sent us a couple of days after the wedding - we hadn't even realised he was filming but now we have a lovely momento of an absolutely amazing night. Thanks so much Dave you were brilliant :)
