#moorlandfire update We would just like to reassure our guests that Dovestone Holiday Park is unaffected thus far by the fires. Our team are monitoring the situation hourly, should anything change we will contact all concerned. We are following GMFS for updates and we praise them for their heroic efforts in tackling the blaze.

These luxury 2 bedroom lodges are stylishly furnished and incorporate a master bedroom with en-suite, a further twin bedroom, a family bathroom and a spacious living space with lounge (some with sofa beds for 2 extra guests), kitchen and dining area. Modern kitchens include all the convenience of home with oven, microwave, hob, extractor, fridge freezer and dishwasher, the lodges are insulated to a high standard and include central heating and a focal point log effect fire so... you will always be snug no matter what the weather outside.
A get away break in the country is great, but this may not mean you want to be cut off completely from the outside world, so to that end, each Lodge includes two flat screen televisions (lounge TV with DVD player), a wireless speaker for blue tooth connection and wifi access*. To the outside of your cabin you will find double aspect veranda’s with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining, built in BBQ and your own outdoor 4 person hot-tub for the ultimate relaxation experience. absolutely loved it stunning location and the lodges are gorgeous spotless well equipped .. hot tub was serviced every day we arrived to a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates couldn't recommend this stunning place enough .. even the dog cried when we left!! booked for next year as soon as we got home....just an idea we would of found it great and would of stayed in the hot tub longer if there was a canopy over it maybe just a pull out one we didn't mind the rain but the towels got soaked �

Wonderful break away! My husband and I took our baby and dog here this week and have all enjoyed a very relaxing break before I return to work following maternity leave. Fabulous staff and first rate accommodation, which had everything you could need. It was also very safe for both our crawling little girl and the dog due to the gates around the lodge. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed lots of nice walks and bbqs in the sun. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely break �p.s the complimentary wine and chocolates were very much appreciated! *****

We have just had the most amazing time, we had all nine pods for two nights, celebrating my nieces birthday, the place is stunning, we had small children with us, it is set out that we could relax knowing it was all safe and secure, and the kids loved the ducks coming to the doors looking to be fed, staff so welcoming and friendly, pods absolutely gorgeous, everything you need, even the added touch of chocolates, security guards patrolling regularly. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back, and we highly recommend.

It has everything in it that you could possibly need from a fully equipped kitchen to board games and playing cards. The wine and chocolates on arrival were a lovely thought. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful too. We will definitely be coming back!

Only been here 1 night but im amazed by this place, i absolutely love the setting, so quiet and romantic, our lodge is amazing, total luxury, the hot tub is amazing, the lady that checked us in is lovely couldnt ask for a nicer lady. The other lady was a little ubrupt but still nice.

Every thing ud ever need or want in the lodges. Clean tidy welcoming. Easy access to the park via key cods at the barrier. Really cant fault anything :)

Nice location, very well kept and the lodges are superbly equipped. I recommend staying here, it's very pleasant.

My family and I (2 adults 2 children age 7 and 5) stayed here in one of the pods this week for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the surrounding area and the park itself was in its own private stunning countryside.

The pod was 'awesome' as the children put it! Very clean with all the facilities available, plus a lovely view of the lake. Very practical and surprisingly spacious considering there were 4 of us.... it didn't feel pokey at all.

We will definitely be returning very soon.... the lodges looked nice too. Excellent value for money considering we stayed on a bank holiday and in the school holidays.

Staff were also very helpful and friendly too.

We did however find just one negative - there was no where in the pod to make toast!!! We improvised, but the children were not falling for it!! �

My family and I (2 adults 1 infant and two dogs) stayed here for a week and absolutely loved every minute of it. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, box of chocolates and some treats for the dogs! The lodge was immaculate and well equipped, even down to the shampoo/conditioners and shower gel! The hot tub was cleaned every morning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you have dogs, both of ours absolutely loved the miles of walking around the reservoir which is only up the road from the site. The only issues we had was how much clothing we had to bring as there was no washing machines in the lodges or on site and also the amount of midges which can’t be helped! We can’t wait to come back!

Me my partner and our lad (7 years old) stayed in the Pods over the weekend, Friday to Sunday. The park and surrounding areas are just beautiful and is a real tranquil setting. We had one fault but was our own mistake in that we didnt bring our sleeping bads with us but we did bring our own towels - Tesco Extra luckily supplied these so was sorted within half hour of arriving (its glamorous camping after all ;-) ). Pods are equipped with BBQ stand, kitchenette (2 hobs, kettle, microwave, undercounter fridge freezer, sink) a bathroom with luxury shower and toilet, sink and vanity mirror. Table and chairs. Double bed and a bunk bed (2 beds). Pods are heated with infrared heaters so stays lovely and warm. Can't fault this park in anyway. Local shops are 5 mins down the road with some local pubs offering good meals out. If you like boating, cycling/mountain biking, walking etc or prefer a drive a countryside, or just some peace away from the city life, I would recommend for any type of person or family. Me and my partner stayed here for a midweek break back in summer 2017 and absolutely loved the mini break. The lodge was modern and clean, we were in the hot tub every night would have been everyday but weather was on our side and was scorching so enjoyed a couple of bbqs also. The views are unbelievable, my partner is a big lover of walking and scenery and was amazed. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and we’ll definitely be coming back this year!

Just spent 2 nights with you. 2 adults and 2 children. The pods are lovely and despite the amount of rain we've had, we had a great stay. We enjoyed the walk around the reservoir and the location is beautiful. Walk to the local shops and pub is about a 20 minute walk. Holmfirth is a short drive away if you like Last of the summer wine. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Just got back from a couple night stay in one of the lakeside pods, and we absolutely loved it! The pod itself was very clean and well done, the rain shower added an extra touch of glamping luxury. We had a bbq every night and loved our little paved area with picnic bench seating to enjoy our food whilst soaking in the surroundings and letting our toddler play safely. Being only a stones throw from Dovestones meant we didn't have to even start to car all holiday. A relaxing break in utterly breathtaking scenery - 5* from us! Thank you, we will be back!



If the park was to include a small play area for children in its future development, that would be even better �

Back from a 4 night stay here in a lodge with a hot tub and it was fantastic. It was such a relaxing peaceful holiday. The park is in a great location next to Dovestone reservoir and many different walks can be done for all ages and abilities. The shops are only 5mins drive if you need to top up your supplies including a big Tesco. There are a selection of pubs too, offering a good food menu. Again only 5mins drive. The lodge was perfect and very clean. It was very cosy and warm without the heating even on. The lodge we stayed in had gates to the front and back which was great for our dog as we could have the back door open and he could access the outside area freely- not sure if this was the case for all the pet friendly lodges but this was a real bonus for us, and maybe a development in the future for the park to think about. Would highly recommend this park and would stay again.

Would definitely recommend if you have dogs, both of ours absolutely loved the miles of walking around the reservoir which is only up the road from the site. The only issues we had was how much clothing we had to bring as there was no washing machines in the lodges or on site and also the amount of midges which can’t be helped! We can’t wait to come back!

Me my partner and our lad (7 years old) stayed in the Pods over the weekend, Friday to Sunday. The park and surrounding areas are just beautiful and is a real tranquil setting. We had one fault but was our own mistake in that we didnt bring our sleeping bads with us but we did bring our own towels - Tesco Extra luckily supplied these so was sorted within half hour of arriving (its glamorous camping after all ;-) ). Pods are equipped with BBQ stand, kitchenette (2 hobs, kettle, microwave, undercounter fridge freezer, sink) a bathroom with luxury shower and toilet, sink and vanity mirror. Table and chairs. Double bed and a bunk bed (2 beds). Pods are heated with infrared heaters so stays lovely and warm. Can't fault this park in anyway. Local shops are 5 mins down the road with some local pubs offering good meals out. If you like boating, cycling/mountain biking, walking etc or prefer a drive a countryside, or just some peace away from the city life, I would recommend for any type of person or family. Me and my partner stayed here for a midweek break back in summer 2017 and absolutely loved the mini break. The lodge was modern and clean, we were in the hot tub every night would have been everyday but weather was on our side and was scorching so enjoyed a couple of bbqs also. The views are unbelievable, my partner is a big lover of walking and scenery and was amazed. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and we’ll definitely be coming back this year!

Just spent 2 nights with you. 2 adults and 2 children. The pods are lovely and despite the amount of rain we've had, we had a great stay. We enjoyed the walk around the reservoir and the location is beautiful. Walk to the local shops and pub is about a 20 minute walk. Holmfirth is a short drive away if you like Last of the summer wine. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Just got back from a couple night stay in one of the lakeside pods, and we absolutely loved it! The pod itself was very clean and well done, the rain shower added an extra touch of glamping luxury. We had a bbq every night and loved our little paved area with picnic bench seating to enjoy our food whilst soaking in the surroundings and letting our toddler play safely. Being only a stones throw from Dovestones meant we didn't have to even start to car all holiday. A relaxing break in utterly breathtaking scenery - 5* from us! Thank you, we will be back!



If the park was to include a small play area for children in its future development, that would be even better �

Just back from two nights in a lakeside pod with three teenagers. We all loved the experience. Fab location and we were very lucky with the weather on our second day to walk around the reservoirs. Pods are immaculate and we'll equipped. Lady at reception lovely. Thank you for the chockies too! Booked a return visit already!!

Back from a two night stay in the glamping pods along with seven other families. We all had a fab time and the pods are outstanding. Lovely and warm, great facilities, would definitely return.. Thanks..

Back from a 4 night stay here in a lodge with a hot tub and it was fantastic. It was such a relaxing peaceful holiday. The park is in a great location next to Dovestone reservoir and many different walks can be done for all ages and abilities. The shops are only 5mins drive if you need to top up your supplies including a big Tesco. There are a selection of pubs too, offering a good food menu. Again only 5mins drive. The lodge was perfect and very clean. It was very cosy and warm without the heating even on. The lodge we stayed in had gates to the front and back which was great for our dog as we could have the back door open and he could access the outside area freely- not sure if this was the case for all the pet friendly lodges but this was a real bonus for us, and maybe a development in the future for the park to think about. Would highly recommend this park and would stay again.
