A huge thank you to our guests Gerry and Milena all the way from Italy, for giving us these lovely photos from their holiday last year. They have just visited us again for their second holiday and hope to return again next year!

'There she floats!!' Little secret on her maiden voyage up to her mooring at Tewitfield! Shes had alot of attention and some lovely comments along the way! We are still going strong 8hrs later! 😂

Ducklings Narrowboat Hire is excited to announce our new boat for 2019 'Little Secret' is now in the water! We love her exterior, finished off with some fantastic signwriting by Shaun Black@crosscountysignwriting. We are currently working on her cosy, vintage themed interior! More info coming soon! 🔷️🌹🔷️

We have had a bit of excitement here at Ducklings Narrowboat Hire! Great Canal Journeys contacted us requesting our little Duckling for Tim and Pru's next adventure on the Lancaster Canal from Preston, Lancashire up to Kendal! We felt awful turning them down but Duckling has already been snapped up for the dates they needed! We wonder which of our lucky hirers will be giving way to Tim and Pru this summer and which of the other lovely hire boats will have the privilege of hosting them!

What a great week this company is second to none lovely clean boat and fantastic canal would recommend 5atars

This is my mum and dads business so i may be biased but they have created such a lovely boat and are amazing people!

Just got back from 5 days on Ducklings couldn't have asked for anything more nick and june are a lovely couple and have thought of everything even down to the wine and flowers and have a lovely cosy boat will be recommending to family and friends

I booked this short break for my hubby's 50th as it's something he has always wanted to do. We had a great time and would recommend trying this . We had sufficient room 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We felt it laid back and relaxing.

Hired the Duckling for a week 10 - 17 September, and it felt like we had borrowed a friend's boat! Nick and June have kitted out this boat to ensure you have everything you could want or need during your stay aboard. The boat was spotless and had all the little touches that make a home. Have hired boats in many locations but never had tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits.....and the wine and flowers showed how they go that extra mile to value their customers. 😘 I am sure they even had a hand in the weather, as the sun shone all week! We had a lovely relaxing break and thank this lovely couple for their friendly, caring hospitality. Billy and Irene x

Had a great weekend on the boat, had everything you could need, lots of room for 4 of us. Over the moon with our weekend break,

Only problem was it was over to quickly.

Next time it will be for a week

The canals were simple to negotiate,and the views were stunning.

The pubs along the way weren't to bad either lmao !

We found the boat was very user friendly & everything you needed was there at hand.

A very clean and well looked after longboat

We are so pleased we have tried this type of break as it has been long overdue
