This is it, the final Jamnation at Dukes. It’s sad times here at Dukes but we will be celebrating what have been an amazing 10 years of live local music. We want to thank everyone who has taken part in Jamnation. From the house band, to all our hosts, the staff, to all that has performed and to all who has come to Jamnation and support the venue and the local talent. We especially want to thank Seb for all the amazing work he has put into Jamnation from the beginning to the... very end.
So come along and raise your glass to one of the best open mic nights in Aylesbury.

Without a doubt the best bar/venue in Aylesbury. Fantastic staff, great open mic nights and awesome gigs. Such a lovely environment with both staff and the people who go there. Doesn’t matter what you look like you’re accepted and made to feel like it’s a safe place to be. I, for one, am so happy that’s it’s exists as a place to celebrate the musical talent in Aylesbury and surrounding areas! �

Went to Shoot pool this Friday as they had El Bronson playing (I'm a fan now�) and what a good night it was, great atmosphere, the music, staff, can't fault it. I have been here before and I always have a good time�

The music and staff are quality the doorman though need to lose their attitude everyone knows they have to pay to get in now they don't need that rammed down their throat that is why people go else where sorry sue it's the truth

Shoot Pool is by far the best live music venue in Aylesbury. They are extremely friendly too!

I held my evening wedding party here and Sue was amazing to work with!

Lovely, accommodating people. My band played here for the second time on Saturday 2nd July and it was an incredible night. A great mix of cultures and backgrounds, all friendly, all smiling, all dancing. Great staff and crowd!

Love the bar, and Sue and Alston are top venue owners. The various bands with which I have performed at Shoot have always been treated extremely well and have always played to a great crowd. Looking forward to my latest project Skamungas playing there on Nov 4th 2017.

I love Dukes as both an audience member and a performer. Since refurbishment the facilities are top notch. It's such a treat working with a sound engineer who knows the venue and equipment. The staff are lovely and always welcoming. Unlike most venues they have decent beers too.

Eton Rivals are really looking forward to playing there again.

Have lots of fun there.

Exceptional music venue. One of the few in Aylesbury where you can have a drink without worrying about hassle or ‘kids’ being idiots. Great selection of bands and music evenings too.

Brilliant night tonight and a huge thank you to Mark, Alex, the bar and door staff for a fantastic night. Despite the little hiccups, one thing after another you all pulled it together. Be proud of yourselves and I for one am looking forward to what the future brings.

Brilliant place to go. , Something for everyone, A great variety of Bands, from the sixties right up until the latest music, on Fridays and Saturdays, Jamation on a Thursday, so if you are a musician or a singer, you can go and play or for the rest of us who are not, a great night of entertainment. different every week along with original bands. There is also Pool, Darts, Poker. As I said something for everyone of all ages. Where else in Aylesbury can you go to get this all in one club.

Best bar in Aylesbury, the music is always great, the staff are friendly and very hard working. The atmosphere is always great and it’s difficult not to get up and dance even if you think you can’t.

A friend was coming to meet us there after work for my birthday celebration. He had just left work and was drinking a beer on the way. When he arrived, he finished that beer and attempted to enter. However, the security lady said he looked drunk and couldn't get in. We tried to explain to her what was happening, but she said " he looks drunk to me, he can't go inside". The entire situation was really unpleasant. We had to leave and go to another bar.

Was turned away 27th July 2017 by a bouncer for "not walking straight" despite the fact I hadn't had anything to drink (nothing at all - I drove there). I guess I must walk around diagonally all the time without realising it(!) Very poor staffing on the door - won't be coming back.

The drinks are a joke. Rola,cola being served used to be cans. The whole bar needs a makeover with decent. Beers on
