Eccleston Methodist Church is a small church in the village of Eccleston, Chorley and is part of the Chorley and Leyland Methodist Circuit. The church is full of very friendly people.

May I commend to you these two recordings from yesterday.
... Firstly, as a Circuit we were unable to be fully present at the funeral of our beloved preacher and friend, Glynn Thomas. An audio recording of the service from Eccleston Methodist Church, where only the immediate family and small number of stewards were present, is available here for you. We look forward to much a fuller thanksgiving service, attended by many of you, in the future, when this crisis has waned.

I do produce a weekly devotional Gospel Hour on Radio Leyland. This week's contains a tribute on the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest (and most prolific) hymn writers, Fanny Crosby, who I hadn't realised was blind from her infancy.
