What a lovely evening my two friends and I have had . The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us , meal was beautifully presented, as well as tasted wonderful and plenty of it , we had booked the Christmas meal and can highly recommend it . Thank you all for a wonderful evening, Merry Christmas to you all hard working staff

First class treatment! Was extra special for my friend from down south. whom I was hosting for the day ! He loved it ! Shout out to Ben too. who made a great old fashioned to my taste :) Food was delicious!

Had a great couple of hours here earlier, yes it's not the cheapest bar in town but you get what you pay for, brilliant staff, top branded drinks, you really can taste the difference, well done to all concerned

Firstly warm welcome at the door xx The lady explained it was quite busy and did keep checking on us service spot on all the staff where lovely � The food was spot on even though it was busy the steak was cooked to perfection xx lovely and modern inside will definitely go Thankyou �xxx

Great ambiance will definately be booking again. Group of four ladies all enjoyed our food. Well done to all staff & especially the chef! Thank you for a great evening celebrating a friends birthday.

If you are after your 2 for £10 then this is not the place for you, you get what you pay for in a stunning environment with really friendly staff!

After all the times we have visited we have never had a bad experience with timing, quality or the attitude of the staff so don't understand some of the bad reviews????

Brilliant meals great staff who looked after us extremely well, no long wait for anything - just loved it and it won't be long before we return xx

Absolutely love this place. Bringin my work colleagues here to celebrate my retirement at the end of June, and I know they staff will look after them

Good food, good choice, the staff are all helpful, it has a good calm atmosphere, good choice of beers as well, and not over expensive, I recommend giving it a try 👍👍

Booked large party of 20, gave deposit and list of food as requested a week before. On arrival we were told website and menu changed midweek, so 5 people had to reorder , plus prices had gone up. Rare steak was well done, sea bass tough and not value for money compared to restaurants of similar prices . No veg with meal, burnt chips. If you want a good burger for 2 it's ideal. Staff were pleasant but we had to wait 45 mins to be seated and starters took 25 mins although pre booked. Disappointing as been there before as a couple and was nice. Will avoid now.

The food was lovely and the staff were nice but we waited over an hour for our starters! I had booked the table the day before. When we arrived at the restaurant we weren’t told there was a booking for 12 or more and whilst waiting for our starters the waitress came over and told us we would have to wait due to the big booking! It was annoying as I hate eating late and it was like 8.20 when we got just our starters and had booked the table for 7! The decor of the restaurant is lovely and I had heard it was expensive which is ok for a one off but the waiting was annoying! I work in a bar/restaurant and when taking big bookings, we apologise to the other customers or warn them in advance!

My daughter was here for a christening a few weeks ago and said it was lovely, so when my other daughter’s husband was working on their first wedding anniversary, I said I’d treat her and her two boys to tea. The restaurant is beautifully decked out, and the staff were very pleasant, but I wasn’t overly imprssed with the food. Mine was really over salted and even the chips with the children’s meals were salted - not good!! My daughter had a pizza, which looked yummy, but again was heavily spiced and over seasoned. I suppose I should have said something when our food arrived, but it didn’t seem fair to deprive two hungry little boys of their tea at the time. I mentioned it to the nice lad who took my payment and he said “oh right, yes, well we need to know these things”!! Well, now you know - so hopefully chef won’t go so heavy with the salt next time. Think I’d try another visit, but on this occasion I’d have to give it a thumbs down. On the other hand, we did have two boisterous little boys with us and the staff were really lovely with them, so that’s a big plus!!! 👍

Worst food in the area - simple chicken ceasar salad - no kos lettuce no croutons just chopped up garlic ciabatta no parma shaving? Very disappointing but my own fault - the last three meals here have been disappointing and said we wouldn’t eat here again. Thought it would improve but it hasn’t !

Looking at other reviews they don’t seem to take reviews on board not one response to bad reviews. Happy to take your money but not address the issues!

Overpriced, waited over two hours in between the starter and main only to be served freezing cold food. The atmosphere was terrible, with everyone complaining about the wait, definitely would not be going again.

Overpriced, waited over 2 hours for main meal from our starters, food was cold! Waiter took our order, then waitress came to verify our order, then another waitress came to verify our order again.

When our food finally came, they brought more food than we ordered and had to send it back.

Everyone else around us were complaining, aswell.

Will definitely not be going again.

My boyfriend worked here for a few months or so, and as one of the hardest working people I know, was treated very unfairly. He was constantly praised by staff members, and told how glad they are to have him work here, yet they decided to let him go for absolutely no valid reason. He was told "we wont go into detail" (as to why you're sacking him??) � This straight away put a huge dent into our plans of getting our first house, which had been arranged under the false sense of job security given off by staff. On top of this, he has now not been paid for his last week of hard work for over 7 weeks. He has been constantly fobbed off by the manager, and after phoning up over 40 times to sort it out, she is always conveniently not there. This is an absolute joke, and needs to be sorted. No need whatsoever for how you've treated him. Also, on my first and last visit here for a meal, my very overpriced steak was way over cooked. Get it sorted.
