Elegant Carriages Description
Providing original carriages with matching pairs of horses for
weddings and special occasions, including:
Birthdays, Anniversaries, School Proms, Church Walking Days,
Commercial Promotions, Village Fetes etc. . .
We cover any area but mainly Lancashire, Cheshire & Merseyside.
Our open carriages all have hoods and aprons to ensure that the occupants are kept dry in case of inclement weather.
Our horses - all white greys (the traditional colour for weddings) -
are all very experienced; and can work in all conditions.
Elegant Carriages is a fully insured working carriage company.

We have recently had the great privilege of elegant carriages taking us to church for our wedding and then on to our venue. The horses and carriage and team where immaculately turned out. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. They totally made our day for us and I could not recommend them enough xx thank you so much to every single member of your team xxx
We booked Elegant Carriages for our wedding and would recommend them to anyone. I arranged to be taken to the church with my parents and then from the church as newlywed's on to the venue. The horses and carriage looked absolutely stunning as did David and his team in matching suits. They were so helpful assisting me in and out of the carriage and holding my bouquet, not to mention all the photo's at the church and when arriving at the venue. This special touch has left us with wonderful memories and we are so pleased we booked them - we had the most amazing time riding from church to the venue.

Like a fairytale - Couldn't of asked for anything more! Surprise horse carriage booked for our wedding was beyond my expectations, professional yet friendly carriage driver and grooms ladies! Beautiful horses Stella & Rose (hope that's correct) and stunning Carriage. Special thanks to Charlotte who let us take photos using her phone that she later sent to me!
I'm a funeral director in Blackpool. I was lucky enough to have a pair of blacks twice in one week! The hearse is absolutely stunning and so beautifully presented: you can tell how well everything is looked after. Frankie & Benny are such beautifully-natured boys too and immaculate!
Dave and Jan are absolute gems and I cannot wait to work with them again. I've got two very happy families <3 thank you Dave!
