We went to see Dinosaurs In The Wild. We ranged in age from 3 to 62 years old and everyone one of us loved it. Very well done. You just get so involved in everything its like its real. I would certainly recommend it to others.

User

Smashing place easy to access from motorway. Spacious and clean with good toilet facilities. Car parks a little confusing in the layout or numbering . Lost the car for over one hour . All around very good and pleasant experience

User

Once again I've been to craft fare, first time I've used the disabled toilets and I've got to commend you they have got to be the best disabled facilities I've ever used, massive room, toilet with lots of rails, easy to flush loo, an easy access able wash basin loads of room to get close enough in a wheelchair and an adult sized changing station. Well done event city

User

My first time at Event City but using their car park post code arrived without a problem. was directed to disabled parking area by efficient parking attendants. Very well organised craft event. Only downside was not enough seating in refreshment areas.

User

Me and my mum went for The National Wedding Show on 11th March and we had such a good day. The event was well organised and the people lovely. We were told where to go and the day was made easier with all the information we were given. Staff were lovely. I hope to go again soon

User

Great exhibition hall with free parking (use the Trafford centre car park next door if needs)

Staff were great here and even security were able to have a laugh while still remaining professional in their duties.

Only been to 1 event here and that was Dinosaurs In The Wild which was an amazing event with excellent attention to detail.

If this is the quality of shows they have here then I am very impressed.

I won't hesitate to go to another event here.

Excellent day out.

User

First time I've been to this and it was fantastic, I brang my son along I think all schools should organise trips to here, to show students there is more to see in the big wide world rather than your local college

User

Enjoyed myself went there yesterday (1/02/18) with deaf friends. Some of them new to me. But disappointed not enough tables & chairs this time. Because last year was good. Good heart some men bring some more chairs very good. Everyone was very patient sit on the floor most youngers but other can't do it on the floor because of hip or back etc problem. Still like coming again very much. We was lucky catch seats bit earlier before 11.45am because of our health come first. Nice cuppa. Just before more people coming after 12noon.

User

Went yesterday to the Craft Event first day. Car park was very disorganized particularly having two events on which shouldn't be a problem but having got there at 940 told us no disabled parking yet we could see space at the front so went there anyway and another guy just let us straight into available place! Let us in wheelchairs scooters and walkers few mins early so much easier to get down isles. Cafe at the end was full even at ten so maybe do with few more seat but had a lovely couple of hours and pleased to see more fabric stalls this time

User

The motorcycle show was a great day out, unfortunately we had to que up for 30 minutes to get in. We already had our tickets printed off so I cannot understand why it took so long to get to the entrance of the exhibition.

User

Went to Digital kids yesterday at Event City. My 9 year old son's enjoyed it, but spent a lot of time queuing. Very limited food choice, long queue and poor food standard. Disappointed that the youtuber stars were more interview based, wheras a live demo by each of them would have gone down well. The Wizard and Big B Staks were more interactive and enjoyable. Apparently you had to pay for kids to join in on stage events which was disappointing. Luckily we parked at another parking area as rhe dedicated car park was full quickly. Diversity were excellent- made it all worth while.

User

The tattoo tea party is a fantastic event. I went to see a friend who was trading and ended up with a new tattoo.

It's a good venue, with excellent facilities and the atmosphere was cool.

The only issues were the fact that the artists were packed in really close to each other and it was absolutely freezing. Now for an event whose main purpose is to promote people who use their hands to put their art on skin, a cold environment is very counter productive

User

It was a lovely day the only complaint I have is the size of the catering area not enough space for everyone to sit down. Their was a lot of disabled people their that was not being catered for. Seating was terrible. I am also disabled and have a blue badge. My group did find seats so we were ok. You really need a bigger part of the event city to cater for tables and chairs. People were sitting on the floor and in previous years I have had to sit on the floor. Its really not good !!

User

Event city is fine, the motorcycle show was very poor, to charge a similar fee to the NEC bike show was way over priced. Will not be returning to this event as it's mostly bike clubs and their riders showing off their own bike.

User

Well for months we had been so excited for digital kids. Let down doesn’t even come close. Expect ques at events like this but que is an understatement. My son was most excited for the hoover boards which he didn’t get to go on and the parkour which he thought he would get to try not just watch. We stood in que for iballistic squid for an hour to then be told he won’t be back for another 2 hours then we started to que again for him there was people jumping the que pushing in. The staff on the stickbots and city stand were all really friendly and helpful but every time asked a staff member in a digital kids jumper they had no clue. I think it could of been an amazing event but he space was badly used and they should have set time slots for things maybe to help the que process. Was shocked by the limited drink/food places and people were queuing for 40 minutes to get served. Can’t see us going again next year we spent most of the time either walking around aimlessly or stood waiting.

I’ve emailed through eventcitys website and sent messages through Facebook regarding the ProseccoFest event that is supposed to be happening on 23rd December. No one has replied to any of my messages and now the ProseccoFest Manchester Facebook page has disappeared. This event even tagged in EventCity for the event a few times. Now I’m not sure if it’s a genuine event and no one is communicating. Messenger lets you know when the message has been seen by the recipient so I know my messages have been read but no one wants to reply back. It does state as well that messages are usually replied to within a few hours, I’ve been waiting almost a month.

User

Digital Kids event a let down for the price paid. Luckily we only had very young kids as older would have been massively disappointed. We had a good day but was not worth the price paid at all! Arena was half empty, very disorganised in some areas (scooter disco in a fully lit area with no lights and no staff - why call it a "disco"??). Such a shame as you have a great arena in a fab location. Waste of time!

User

Digital Age was a complete waste of money - not enough exhibitors place was half empty so the queues to use anything were huge - queuing 45 mins to use a game machine for three minutes was outrageous. Chicken wrap -3 lots of fries and a drink was £36 -don't mind paying for good food but that's just ridiculous when it's fairground food.

The obviously couldn't get exhibitors probably too expensive -will not be going next year

User

Digikids: an hour to queue outside to get in.... as a result nearly missed our meet and greet session. Another half hour to queue for food. Another hour to queue for a go on the VR. Absolutely terrible! May as well have set fire to £200! Not enough displays or exhibits in relation to visitors! Never again.... 😖👹😔
