Generations are tricky things. My grandmother was born in the 19th century!

Queen's Hotel, now the Grapevine, in Victoria Road, Exmouth. We'd love to identify everyone and make a key so that information doesn't get lost. Can anyone help?

Wonder what we might have in the mud off our coast?

Barnacle is on holiday this week and he has asked his friend Mr Turnip to stand in for him. In fact he has got legs and feet which is more than Barnacle has. Mr Turnip is a string puppet who lives upstairs at the Museum. He seems to have let some of the dolls have an outing too. Well deserved, they are fed up with being cooped up in the cabinets with the Lego!!

I'm sure everyone is wondering about the second prize in our Summer Raffle! here is Beryl Reader's beautiful rendition of A La Ronde ( it is mounted and framed ready for hanging)

Very interesting place worth a visit volunteers were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They could do with a lot more help and support to stay open. So if your local and want the museum to stay get active and get along and support the lovely people that run it

Lots of interesting photographs of local businesses from way back when. Information on participation in the Great War, domestic artefacts from the home..toys, cooking, clothes.

Love the typewriters and radios. Easily manageable for all ages and lots to dip into time and again. Super cheap too!

Exmouth Museum a jewel of a time capsule of times gone by. So many artefacts that will bring back many memories to the older generations and stir the minds of the younger ones. Come and have a look and see how you may be able to help with donations or fund raising ideas so that the Museum can be saved, and thank you in advance!

Excellent little museum packed full, maybe if the local community used these places we could save our history for generations to come!
