Fairfield Independent Hospital

About Fairfield Independent Hospital

Fairfield delivers the very best of healthcare with friendly and approachable staff and personal treatment by top consultants in a wide range of specialities.

Fairfield Independent Hospital Description

Fairfield Independent Hospital is one of the very few remaining charitable hospitals in the country, something of which we are extremely proud.

Our facilities are modern and our level of cleanliness in all areas is outstanding. This is reflected in our post-operative infection rates which are very low. Through our rigorous attention to detail with regard to infection, we have had no reported cases of MRSA, MSSA or C. difficile.

We know how stressful it is when you or someone you care for needs to come into hospital and we are truly focussed on ensuring we provide the best possible individual care to suit your needs in a beautiful, relaxing environment.

The staff are wonderful from the moment I walked in to walking out last night at 10.30 (wanted my own bed!) The staff are very thorough and so friendly making my stay less worrying. My partner stayed the entire time and was offered coffee and biscuits and kept up to date. It was a half hour procedure that went on over an hour but he was never left to worry. The room was a little dated but had a lovely patio door to a tranquil garden area to get some fresh air. The porter was funny as were the care assistants. Lovely place

User

The staff are great as soon as you come through the door your seen to quickly by the dr and he gets everything you need up and running couldn't falt it thanks

User

Quick friendly service. Would definitely use again. And recommend if you need to be seen quicker for any issues.

User

Outstanding care and professional carers. Nothing too much trouble for most nurses. Now looking to move my next operation here. No pressure to leave and ensured I was able to manage my pain before I was discharged. I was in for 3.5 days for half knee replacement. A collegue went to another hospital and was discharged the day after which is something I could not envisage. Massive thanks to everyone as I wasn't the easiest of patients.

User

It was my first time here and was abit wary but I loved it very very nice staff all very welcoming very well looked after and I'm back for the second time soon an I have no worries now would recommend this hospital to everyone very clean warming an they look after you so well

User

I've had all kinds of treatments & two major ops at Fairfield. It's spotless , nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and I would recommend it to anyone.

Sadly I don't have private health insurance so I'm dependent on the NHS where the staff work so hard & my Father, my Savior, prayer & the NHS have saved my life !

Fairfields's single rooms, really good food & beautiful grounds make it the place to be if you HAVE to be in hospital.

User

I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having their operation here I was very well looked after from the minute I walked in till the minute I left. Nothing was to much trouble for any one. Some one came every 30 mins to check on me nothing was too much trouble.Kept my daughter informed on my recovery .

User

User

I was referred via the NHS, the hospital is beautiful, pristine. Such wonderful staff, I had a ganglion on my foot removed today and had never had an operation before. Chatting before it until I was asleep about counties I'd love to go to was just the ticket :). The lady in charge of food after was so accommodating and helpful about my dietary requirements too. Thanks so so much, it was such a positive, relaxing experience.

User

I visited fairfield hospital on Saturday 17/06/17 to see a consultant. It's a lovely hospital located in a beautiful place. All the staff were friendly, but the consultant seemed a little grumpy lol. I think i did manage to get a little bit of a smile out of him at the end. Better not say to much about him, because he will be carrying out the operation lol

Joking apart though, all together a wonderful place. Can't wait to come back for my operation. Still waiting for a date. Kind regards Kevin

User

I had my second operation yesterday and as always superb treatment! From arriving to the hospital the receptionist, nurses, health assistants, consultants, porters are just amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for them and make you feel relax and at ease. Would highly recommend this hospital to anyone - no one enjoys going to hospital but this is very much a home from home.

User

The care and I received was second to none and I'd like to thank Mr Shah my consultant surgeon, Mr Wong the anesthetist, Sue Taylor the staff nurse and all the others staff that looked after me so well. I would recommend this hospital without reservation.

Came into Fairfield yesterday to have a lump removed from my head and back.

From the moment I arrived, I was dealt with in a kind, friendly and professional manner. Within minutes of arriving on the ward, I was asked what I'd like to eat after my procedure, and the nurses explained everything I could use in my room.

Mr Scott was brilliant, and explained everything. I was so nervous, but the nurses and theatre staff really put me at ease.

Thank you so much for everything

User

An absolutely amazing hospital, everywhere is spotless, all levels of staff are extremely professional and friendly, nothing is too much trouble at all...If you looked for a fault.. you would never find one.

Best hospital I've ever been too. Well done Fairfield Independant....

and a massive big Thank you to you all....xxx.

It's the future for sure and all hospitals should be modelled on their approach. I went in as a day patient and was treated no differently from any other patient and was told at every stage what was happening. They treated me like a patient not a number. I was treated on the NHS but felt as valued as if I had paid privately as it should be.
