I've got one thing to say about this. YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!

I have a fantastic client base and I am very, very lucky to have many returning customers. My diary is pretty much fully booked until the end of the year and some times I have to turn away more enquires than I would actually be able to make for a particular date. I send so many quotes out every week and some of those people get how much work goes into bespoke piece of hand made art that just happens to be edible, and some just don't. It'll always be this way. Would you question why a plumber charges what he charges? Your mechanic? Your hairdresser? I'll leave this here :) Have a great Sunday <3

OMG All the time LOL you would't believe how many of these i've heard!

One of my favourite cakes this year was this one made in February, based on the Monsters Inc movie.

Peter Rabbit is such a popular theme for christenings and early birthdays. Each one is made to order and we never make exactly the same cake twice.

One of my faves from July last year. This was a huge 14" square cake with 3 figures from the Walking Dead on top as well as the birthday girl herself. Featuring bloody zombies and blood splattered hand prints.

This cute Gruffalo topper was commissioned by a lady who was making her little one's birthday cake, but felt she wasn't up to creating the models. We are happy to make toppers for cakes, from Elephants to Teddy bears, Princesses to Crocodiles, each is hand made to order.

A party with out cake is just a meeting. Cakes and cupcakes for your engagement party. Then how about ordering your Hen party cupcakes, those ones can be made a little bit more 'Risqué' if you know what I mean ladies?!

This four tier naked cake for Naomi and Ross was filled with with toffee, vanilla and Morello cherry, chocolate fudge and traditional vanilla and seedless raspberry fillings. Decorated with fresh berries and the personalised topper really finished it off.

We don't design cake by numbers here at Fairy Dust Cake Shop. Every cake is made bespoke according to your specifications and lovingly baked and crafted here in our onsite kitchen at Blakemere Village. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and are always up for a challenge! If you can dream it we can make it.

This adorable cake was for Morgan's first birthday and featured two little bears, a mini train and name block that were all completely edible. There was also a naughty little bear who sneaked on in the night and helped himself!!

This three tier wedding cake had a clean and elegant ivory and grey marbled finish. A blank slate for the florist to add their flowers to at the venue.

Never say we are not up for a challenge here at Fairy Dust Cake Shop! This was certainly a first for us with this theme. The structure holding the dancer and the dancer her self brought up a lot of engineering issues we had to think around. The birthday girl was very happy, as were we, with the end results!

This three tier wedding cake featured edible lace around the bottom and delicate flower ruffles around the middle tier. The top tier has a satin finish and featured 3 handmade roses with leaves and berries.

This stunning wedding cake for Laura and Danny was four tiers of vanilla and chocolate sponges with mint chocolate, Irish Cream, raspberry and white chocolate and traditional vanilla and seedless raspberry fillings. The top was adorned with delicate hand made sugar roses and the dusky pink second tier featured a monogram designed around the front of the couples invitations. Around the bottom tier, hidden between the pieces of edible lace, were hidden hand piped logos and emblems from Las Vegas where the happy couple were married a few weeks previously.

Congratulations Ian & Kirsty who were married at Llindir Hall on Saturday. This was their Alice in Wonderland cake and cupcake tower. The two tier cake, in soft lilacs and purples, features a handmade and entirely edible cup and saucer filled with a hand made sugar rose and was topped with a Mad Hatter's Hat. Edible images of the original Alice illustrations were placed around the bottom tier and a gold pocket watch features on the top tier. The 100+ cupcakes were 4 different flavours and were finished with hand made pocket watches, 'Eat Me' tags and hearts.

This Rose Gold and Ivory wedding cake went out on Saturday last week to Norton Priory. Top and bottom were lemon sponge with lemon frosting, lemon curd and white chocolate ganache (my personal favourite flavours) and the middle was chocolate, chocolate and chocolate! With hand made roses and a super glittery Rose gold finish on the middle tier for the added sparkle.

This guys work is just breath taking!

To all my lovely regulars, future Fairy Dust fans, Brides to be and Party planners, I just wanted to let you know the availability, or actually, lack there-of for the rest of 2018. My diary is fit to bursting with very, very limited availability for weekend consultations, so PLEASE please contact me with as much notice as possible. 2019 is looking very busy for me already with lot's of loverly wedding cakes already booked in and many more awaiting their consultations.

WOW! What can I say about Helen and her cakes, she recently made our wedding cake (28.04) which was the most incredible cake my husband and I have ever tasted. We had 3 different flavoured tiers all of which went down an absolute storm with our guests. We only met with Helen once about 10 days before the wedding but she knew exactly what we wanted and was so easy to deal with. The cake was delivered on the day without us even knowing she had been! Our guests still tell us how amazing the cake tasted! We will definitely be paying another visit to the shop to buy some cupcakes on our anniversary! Thank you again Helen...Natalie & Dale xx

Once again exceeded expectations- Helen produced a fantastic In the Night Garden cake for my little boys first birthday. It looked amazing with all the characters, a personalised message for Adam, and it tasted even better! Order for my daughters third birthday already placed!

I'd highly recommend Helen if you are after a special occasion cake. Outstanding service and results.

My mum planned my wedding cake and Helen really did make my mums idea an amazing reality. She planned an obstacle course up the side of an otherwise traditional looking cake with super hero’s climbing the outside. It was better than I could have imagined and it tasted amazing, hardly any was left, the guests really enjoyed it! I would highly recommend cakes from this shop! And I’m certain all my guests would agree!

I just want to say a massive thanks to Helen for my amazing wedding cake it looked beautiful and tasted amazing!! Thank you so much xx

I can’t thank you enough for my amazing wedding cake and biscuit favours. The 4 tiered wedding cake looked and tasted phenomenal! The tractor biscuits, which I had as our favours went down a treat with the guests. They will be talking about those for a while! Thank you again!! Can’t recommend Helen enough! ��

Helen made a fantastic Dory cake for my son's 3rd birthday. Had a 9inch square chocolate cake with vanilla filling and the iced outside with Dory and Nemo characters on top. From the moment we ordered if was clear Helen was very talented, drawing our idea out and knew she would have fun making it......and we weren't disappointed. Picked it up yesterday for today's party. We were stunned by the detail when we first saw it and even now are still mesmerised by the detail. The cake tastes absolutely delicious and all the guests at the party loved it and thought it was amazing.



Would highly recommend to anyone. One thing people shouldn't under estimate is the amount of time, love and care Helen puts into each cake - an absolute professional. Thank you so much for a fantastic cake (from a very happy customer)

Helen made a fabulous cake for my divorce party. A broken heart with two characters at opposite sides representing my ex and me. The cake was absolutely delicious - vanilla sponge with a raspberry frosting filling with white choc chips and white choc icing. I brought some home and my neighbour’s family said it was the best cake they’d ever eaten. We also had a cutting cake of chocolate sponge and salted caramel filling - both beautifully moist and melt in the mouth! Everyone loved the cake and I would definitely recommend Fairy Dust Cakes to anyone.

Had a Game Of Thrones cake made for my gf’s birthday recently and was blown away at how awesome it was! P.S If you’re still deciding what filling to go with, the chocolate and baileys combination is as awesome as Daenerys flying on a dragon! �

Fantastic cakes and great service. My son and I chose our own cupcakes, fillings and toppings. Soft fluffy cakes. Also did gluten free cupcakes for mum too. Would recommend this place to everyone
