Last summer some of our members volunteered at the ecumenical We Are The Church tent at the Creamfields Festival.
It was a transformational experience - and we can't wait to return to the Festival at the August Bank Holiday this year.
If you want to get involved... and show the love of Jesus to thousands of festival-goers click the link to sign up 👇 http://www.123formbuilder.com/form-4…/w e-are-the-church-2019

We had a fantastic GREAT GET TOGETHER this afternoon.
We had old friends catching up, friends we haven't seen for a while and we met lovely new people.
The youngest attendee had just turned 1, and the oldest was 90!
... The weather was kind and the children had a great time playing and chalking outside!
Huge thank yous to everyone who helped make this a great event!
The Great Get Together is a national event, organised annually, inspired by MP Jo Cox who was killed on 16 June 2016. Its a chance to bring our communities together and celebrate all that unites us.

After a very rainy week, the sun was mostly shining on the Church Ramble today in North Wales.
Thank you Howard and Anne for organising and leading us on a very enjoyable 6 miles up the Little Orme and around the hills behind Llandudno.

During the "Not Scary" Bible Study we watched the Bible Projects overview of Colossians. If you couldn't join us this week, why not have a watch now?
We are having an extra "Not Scary" Bible Study session next Sunday - looking in more detail at Colossians Chapter 2.
Join us at 7pm in the Coffee Bar - tea/coffee and a time to talk and learn together with friends.

Today our Children met a new friend - Paul. They found out about how he became a follower of Jesus, and how he wrote to the Church in Colossae. They also found a letter he had written to our own church - and discovered that we are prayed for even today.

In June we will be taking part in Bible Month - digging deep into the Book of Colossians.
This week you can prepare by praying for those who are leading worship and bible studies at FMC and across the Sankey Valley Circuit.
You might also want to read through Colossians in preparation - it's only 4 chapters long!
