For anyone with a brain, I recommend to never go with this letting agency, the customer service is fairly okay so that isn’t a problem to me as much. However, the properties listed are not worth what they charge. It started off with me moving into a property on Cairo Street, it all seemed nice as my first experience but few days later I realised how damp the flat was due to a number of holes in the basement, cockroaches and mouldy corners so I put a 1* review to express my concern and THEY wasn’t happy with me and demanded that I removed the review or there would be consequences. In the end, I gave them the benefit of the doubt to shift me to another property across the road on Rylands Street which was a more of a modern flat and dramatically nicer. We moved in and it was great until we realised we had limited electric, every radiator was knackered so we was freezing cold in the winter nights and all that. The washing machine had a tendency to leak and often flood the flat unexpectedly too and all these issues was reported and to be fair, Fastmove got someone to come out but hardly in a rush but even then the issue was no fucking solved. The electric meter was down to a fault in the circuit I believe which caused the sockets near the cooker to spark which was rectified the same day I remember correctly after me begging in the office. Now it comes to moving out, I was left in a very sticky situation causing me to be unable to pay rent in one payment, but this has all been paid now over the course of three weeks. I am partly to blame for damages as I handed to keys over to someone else during the notice period, who then damaged the flat. But then the agency had the cheek charge me an extra £458 for damages that don’t exist... removal of rubbish? I have pictures of the flat and how it was left, repainting? Fair enough, I didn’t paint but even that doesn’t cost much, new blinds in the bedroom? Give over they was already broken, they didn’t even pull up for god sake, new headboard? The headboard is perfectly fine. They have completely disregarded my deposit which covers almost half of these damages. Money makers they are, and if you have any bit of sense then you will take my advice and avoid this toxic company. It is for your own good.
