Fitbox Description

Functional Fitness
‘ Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability. ’
The FitBox Functional Fitness classes entail a workout that involves both bodyweight and equipment based exercises, designed to give you a full body workout.
The class focuses on improving your all round fitness and ability by offering you a wide variety of exercises and session structures!
Our Functional Fitness classes change every day, in order to ensure that you focus on a different muscle group each time you train, as well as burn body fat effectively!
During these classes our coaches will help you develop your technique at the exercises involved, in order for you to progress in your abilities.
These types of classes are perfect for all levels of fitness, as it is a great way to either start out by learning a wide range of movements, as well as testing your abilities and limits if you’re somebody who has trained for a long time OR simply feel like mixing up your routine.

Boxing
Our boxing classes are a great way to relieve some of that weekly stress!
Boxing is a fantastic way to kick start the body into a state of fat burning through a continuous mix of punch combinations and footwork.
This type of dynamic training is perfect for dropping any of that unwanted body fat, whilst working enough muscle groups to ensure that your body starts to take the shape you’re looking for!
During the class you will work with Punch Bags, Upper body Exercises, Cardiovascular exercises, Circuits and Partnered Pad Work.
Stress relief, enjoyable exercises and a good laugh along the way, always makes for a great workout!

BOOTCAMP
FitBox Bootcamp sessions are focused predominately on FAT BURNING.
Through stationed circuits and group bodyweight exercises, we look to maintain a vigorous work rate and focus throughout the session.
We look to High Intensity Interval styled Training alongside a variety of dynamic equipment based exercises, so that our body stays in fat burning mode.
It’s a great way to get toned up and lean!
Like all of our classes, every station and exercise will offer modifiers, so that if you feel like certain movements are a struggle, there will always be something different for you to do so that you don’t miss out on your workout!

FitBox Lifting
This class is all about improving technique with barbell and dumbbell based exercises.
Basing the workout on power lifts and compound exercises, our coaches aim to help you to become better at stabilising your body whilst using weights, as well as improving your strength and power.
This class is aimed at BOTH males and females. Like any of our other classes, this workout will be your own, and down to your ability. You will never be asked to lift something you don’t feel comfortable with lifting, BUT we will do all we can as coaches to help build your confidence and set your targets.
Our lifting class is a great way to work up a sweat whilst getting stronger, healthier and fitter!

Insanity
Insanity classes are specially designed interval training routines which EVERYONE and ANYONE can attend!
The classes cover the WHOLE BODY for a dynamic blast! With rest periods inbetween bodyweight exercise combinations, the structure of the class means you get maximum results from training with simple and short bursts of work!
Insanity Benefits:
• Avoid boredom in your routines.
• Work at your own pace
• Experience an intense workout.
• Attain the best result quickly.
