Flight Delay Services Description
Flight Delay Services Ltd (FDS) provides total support solutions for airlines and transport companies during operational disruption, helping to minimise passenger inconvenience and stress and making sure operators meet their legal obligations for welfare provision.
Backed by one of the largest travel groups in Europe, FDS offers reliable, friendly support at times when airlines and transport companies need it most - during operational disruption.
Financially stable and able to call upon the huge resources of its parent companies and owners, FDS provides access to one of the largest databases of hotels, bus and coach operators and taxis and limousines available. Our approved operators are audited to ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
FDS can provide turn-key solutions including hotels, surface transport (coach, taxi and rail) and arranging welfare for passengers affected by operational disruption, delay or diversion.
Reviews
Snow doesn't have to bring an airport to a grinding halt. Friedrichshafen, Germany in December 2014. Good job by airport and Monarch Airlines despite heavy snow fall. No use for FDS services here but we're always on hand, just in case.
FDS was pleased to join DNata at their recent launch in Manchester Airport and we look forward to working with them to continue supporting Emirates when required. Good luck!
We are pleased to confirm that Flight Delay Services is now an agent for National Express, giving customers even more options during flight disruption
As Icelandic volcano status is now red, hotels and coach operators are encouraged to keep FDS informed of availability for the next few days. #ashtag
We are not sure an industry trade publication should pushing a story like this, especially with such a 'sensational' headline.
Travel Weekly should support the industry, not attack it. We know better than most that airlines are committed to avoiding delays and cancellations - its damaging enough financially without compensation payments to passengers - but the existing Regulation is geared towards punishing them despite their efforts.

We have mixed emotions about this sort of event (should it happen). One one hand we appreciate the distress it causes passengers affected and on airline operations/finances. On the other hand, it's at a time like this that Flight Delay Services comes into its own and shows airlines and handling agents just how effective it is - just like we were in 2010. http://news.sky.com/…/airlines-warned-o ver-iceland-volcano-…
Is this article a fair reflection of how airlines deal with flight disruption? At FDS, we only see what effort airlines put in when thongs go wrong but is there a bigger picture and are they failing passengers? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/…/Airport-mi sery-the-airlines-ju…
Seems like passengers are more reasonable than courts when it comes to flight delay compensation. Check out the blog below the article. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/…/passen gers-travelling-newc…
If this is what airlines and passengers want, FDS can sort out pizzas for stranded pax too. http://t.co/gzTUbvcI58 0161 493 9444
Room demand is high due French ATC strike. Partner hotels are encouraged to update their availability in FDS system for next 3 days. Pls RT

There will be increasing pressure on airlines to provide better care for disrupted passengers to minimise such claims. As ever, FDS will be on hand to help keep costs under control. http://tllg.net/Xlil
