House renovation: First bedroom complete, this room has had a full makeover. Walls and ceiling completely stripped, wardrobes taken back to create more space. Walls and woodwork all sanded, and walls papered with 1700 grade lining paper. Painted with Dulux nutmeg white on walls, and Urban obsession on woodwork. Finally finished with a lovely feature wall. House renovation: After stripping the walls and removing the old fire place, we discovered a lovely open fire place. Removing some more bricks, we found the original Arch. Such a bonus feature! Time to board the inside, skim the edges, and leave it open! Another trip to the builders yard tomorrow. And a visit to a reclaim yard, see if I can find a nice piece of timber for the mantel.
